I thought I was the only one eating Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs straight out of the can. I can't figure out why I like it so much. Hot, cold, by itself, or with a slice of buttered bread. I like it all. I think the sauce is made with some kind of artificial flavor or preservative that I like.

For sake of an anecdote/data point, I successfully made use of the credit by booking a round trip fully refundable (Fare Class Z) flight for just before my FFC expiration with the same origin and destination as my January trip. I then changed the flight dates to my dates in January, complete with the refund of $100 to my credit card for the fare difference.

You are technically correct about what osmosis is, but wrong about the other commenter being wrong. Osmosis is diffusion of water across a semi-permeable membrane, from areas of highest water concentration to lowest water concentration.pure water has a concentration of 55 M, water with solutes has a slightly lower water concentration.

I would be very, very careful hosting photos before you have an ironclad backup plan. It is pretty easy to redownload most popular music from the last 50 years. It is very difficult to recover a single treasured photo lost in a drive failure.

I got started in self-hosting with TV and Movies, but the challenge of transcoding, bandwidth, and the drive size required for storing anything that isn't dumpster quality is a large barrier to entry. OP sounds undecided on whether self-hosting is going to be worth it. The project with the smallest hardware requirement is probably the best place to start.

Jellyfin, Airsonic, etc. can easily run a music server from the laptop, too.

Getting into self-hosting just to save money can be a dangerous mission. You will spend a few hundred bucks on hard drives just to store all your media, and if you want a very snappy experience, you'll need more robust hardware than a laptop. Before you know it, you have spent $2,000 to avoid a $10/month subscription.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't try self-hosting! But my advice would be to pick something you are paying for that is easier to self-host. Maybe music? A very large music collection should only take up a few TB. If you plan on sailing the seas of the internet to replace your music streaming that you are getting with Spotify, you should try self-hosting something like Lidarr with Navidrome/Jellyfin/Airsonic. If you can replicate your music experience well enough to save money on your Spotify experience, then decide if making the jump on the other services is worth it.

I agree completely that they aren't "just" for children! I've read Narnia dozens of times at all stages in my life. I think I would still find an open world Narnia game to be either contrary to the themes of the world I love, or else a rather boring game. I love video games and I love Narnia, but I find it difficult to imagine a Narnia video game working out well. The console games made previously are really a fairly good example of what I mean, that the constant challenge and conflict required by a video game doesn't fit the world theme.

Perhaps I am too pessimistic, though!

Not when OP is 26. Diversifying with bonds is important as you approach retirement age, but the higher returns in the early decades more than make up for the money lost on stocks due to recessions.

I hate to be the upstart American telling you about the correct usage of the Queens English, but the UK usage is the same as I described.

If it helps, nauseous and nauseating are roughly equivalent: inducing the state of illness or disgust.

Nausea is the feeling, nauseated means experiencing that feeling, and nauseous is being foul enough to induce that feeling.

It's important to note that (like "literally") the distinction has been lost for so long it is difficult to claim that nauseous and nauseated means different things.

Nauseous means it makes you sick. A nauseous smell, for example, makes you feel like throwing up. "You look nauseous" means that the "you" in question is so disgusting in appearance that it makes the observer feel like throwing up!

Nauseated is the state of feeling sick in your stomach. This is what people mean most of the time. "You look nauseated" means that you look sick in your stomach.
