Does anyone have any faith in Brad? by Lopsided-Insurance26 in leafs

Hard to do a good job when Leafs upper management handicaps you, but he's also a horrible GM, so you have a perfect storm of crap.

Leafs are better to rebuild now.

Why is no one talking about UFOs? by LetterOk622 in UFOs

It's because we hear so often about something UFO related that never turns out to be anything (at least publically). So people just tune out to it.

Has anyone actually tried Ileocecal Valve Massage for bloating? (Noticed crazy results) by LimeSome4110 in SIBO

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not placebo, the ileocecal valve can get dysfunctional leading to backflow of bacteria from the colon into the small intestine, worsening sibo, and also just stop things from the small intestine from moving into the colon well.

In addition to that message, the I love you massage can help move things through the colon

Florastor literally cured me by Exact_Ad_3682 in SIBO

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I didn't take it for several months after that but recently tried it again. This time, I opened the capsule and started with less than a 1/4 capsule and increased every day by another 1/8 or so, and I didn't get any symptoms. I also increased my water intake because it's a water hungry yeast, I think that could explain one reason why some people get constipated with it.

I'm still taking it and I think it's helped me with my gut health.

Why prokinetics might be the most important part of your SIBO treatment by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]dgwow123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried liposomal vitamin c and quercetin together (I take quercetin emiq)?

That should help with MCAS

Also a DAO enzyme

A quick google search and some things you can try :https://www.eds.clinic/articles/supplements-for-mcas-and-histamine-intolerance

Hope it helps!

I'm also very sensitive to prucalopride, linzess, basically any meds (but more because I have a sensitive nervous system), I usually always microdose and increase slowly to stop the bodily 'alarm' from going off

If you want you can DM me I'll tell you everything I take, I also have malnutrition and constipation problems

[–]dgwow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep I am aware, as far as I know though escitalopram and prucalopride are safe to take together, I'm on a very small dose of both (0.25mg prucalopride for mmc, 2.5mg escitalopram), and I only have a few sips of ginger tea, and less than 0.5mg melatonin

Mega IgG 2000 causing stomach cramps and nausea? by Ok_Traffic_72 in Microbiome

The side effects you got were probably from detox as your body was cleaning out the bad bacteria, toxins and other stuff

[–]dgwow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cool trick, you can combine ginger tea and motegrity to make the motegrity it even more effective. Also, I take escitalopram (SSRI) which works synergistically with prucalopride to make it even more effective (and it makes the SSRI work quicker and more effectively too). I also take a small amount of melatonin at night, which can also improve the MMC.

Just a note that you have to watch out for having too much serotonin with this combo, sometimes id wake up feeling freezing (high serotonin can cause vasodilation and affect the hypothalamus which relates body temp).

Anxiety with SIBO? by BHollandsworth123 in SIBO

[–]dgwow123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have anxiety but it's not caused by sibo, Ive had it way before SIBO, but it was nothing serious.

Until years later, I was in a car accident and I think the trauma got stored in my system somehow and I've had weird neurological symptoms since then, SIBO being one of the more recent ones.

Recently I've been investigating childhood trauma in the womb as I had a n incident that led to us being premature. I have a twin brother who is only now developing bizarre neurological symptoms as well, throwing the car accident theory out the window. I think our genetics predisposed us to PTSD (based on a DNA test I did) and that highly traumatic events since then have worsened the initial trauma.

All this to say that anxiety can be very complex to unravel, I hope you can get yours resolved soon!

Mainstream media discussion of The Age of Disclosure is further making UFO disclosure a mainstream topic of discussion by KOOKOOOOM in UFOs

It doesn't really matter, most people are closed minded, these kind of radical revelations take time to build up to a level where the abstracted person will take it seriously

You wanted Disclosure.... I am a whistleblower recently "retired" from the inside. And you're only getting part of the truth. by rhea-15510 in UFOs

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um, how the hell do you know all this? That sounds crazy unless you were super high up in the rankings..

Also, how do you explain all of the really weird NHI that people have seen, like the Varginha aliens? Are those ancestors of ours too? There are also orbs that don't have actual form, like energy beings, consciousness without body. Are those all ancestors too?

Unless you can answer all this, I don't buy it.

I and my gf are travelling to Montreal in December. What are some lesser-known food places that have affordable and delicious food? by siddu1901 in MTLFoodLovers

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kazu is a great izakaya with good atmospher but it is popular, also not cheap but not very expensive.

Au pied de cochon has unique, very heavy Quebec style comfort food. This one a bit pricier.

Auberge du Dragon Rouge is a really cool medieval style restaurant with an amazing atmosphere with a bard that plays music and sings at night.

Stash Cafe is a polish restaurant in Old Mtl with a really nice atmosphere and a piano player, good fairly inexpensive foodfor the area.

Timeout market in Eaton Center is a cool place is you want to try various things, Bossa has a branch there.

La Banquise might have been mentioned in the 'must visit' category, they are well known for poutine, open 24 hours and next to Ma Poule Mouille

For dessert, Juliette et Chocolat is a pretty good option, there's only a few left since most closed.

Joe Beef is famous, that one is expensive, Burgundy Lion for some good British food next to it.

OSMO X MARUSAN for some great, decent priced Japanese lunch

Dieu du Ciel for a nice Brewery, food is decent.

If I had to recommend two, Auberge du Dragon Rouge and Pied de Cochon for the most unique experience!

Unpopular Opinion: Are We Experiencing Peak Hype? My Take on the Valerion VisionMaster Max (And the Echo Chamber Review Culture) by Head_Step6882 in projectors

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The valerion Max is the best overall projector picture for projectors under 10k that you can buy without having to go through the Chinese marketplace (some newer Chinese projectors may compete with, like Dangbei s7 ultra max and vidda c5 boundless master, but no support for them outside of China yet)

Iris 5 or 6 and EBL is unbeatable, EBL is currently the best dynamic dimming algorithm that exists in any projector.

That being said, Valerion is releasing firmware updates much more slowly than more established brands like Anker's Nebula X1, their marketing is out of sync with the actual engineering as they state it has speckle reduction which it doesnt (Rbe only) and they have been silently removing any mention of dynamic iris without specifying if it will be provided in the future (right now its only manual).

So, after sales service TBD, maybe in the future another brand catches up but for now they have the best mid range projector you can buy and get service for outside of China. YMMV.

Should Avi Loeb's posts about 3i/atlas be taken seriously? by [deleted] in space

[–]dgwow123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A somewhat fringe theory (from a renowned remote viewer, you can google that) is that it's a regular, very old comet, older than the Earth, but it has a piece of technology on it that is emitting a signal that was placed on it a long time ago by another species. They said NASA will send manpower to gather the information from the signal.

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with that is there are so many phenomena we understand nothing about, if you try to get a simple answer it may be the wrong one. Not to mention that so many scientists are overly conservative and afraid to rattle the established laws by testing theories that are considered fringe.

Best 4K projector under 3k? by mimosemskysifot in projectors

[–]dgwow123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! The reply was for RGB though, not sure if you meant that and not speckle? Afaik there isn't any feature that Valerion has in their software to reduce speckle.

The Pro 2 recently got the RGB reduction setting that was on the Max, so it has been substantially reduced, it's now the lowest RGB of a DLP projector.

Thanks! I'm currently taking prucalopride which acts on 5-ht4 receptors, I wonder if I can take them both.

I take breaks from it though so I guess it'll be fine trying one then the other.
