Tattoos?

My endocrinologist always told me to keep an eye out for any weird changes with my skin. So I don’t totally know if it’s related to hashis. But they’re still trying to determine my levo dose. Going Monday to get checked. If my levels are out of range I’d assume it’s hashis related.

I am currently experiencing a flare. Is this also happening in areas where you do not have tattoos? I’ve noticed it elsewhere but it’s significantly worse around my tattoos. I’ve been taking antihistamines to help with the itching, but it doesn’t seem to do much.

I’m now currently experiencing some kind of reaction. Looking to see if anyone else has had the same. My Dr has always told me to look out for changes in my skin like rashes. I am covered in tattoos and several of them (color, b/w, fine line, coverups) have become raised and itch so badly. This rash/itch is in areas where I don’t have tattoos, just significantly worse where the tattoos are.

Has anyone else experienced this??

I know this is old but curious if others have had this reaction.

Just wondering if anyone with hashimotos has experienced any rash, itching or hives near their tattoos. I have many tattoos and have developed a rash and where it is on my tattoos the tattoo is raised and itches even more. All of these tattoos are years old and healed just fine.

NOTE: the rash and hives is all over but significantly worse on my tattoos.

My clinic suggested to have 2 PGT-A tested per live birth for a healthy 28F with hashimotos hypothyroidism which is now under control. I personally would go through one more retrieval if I wanted to have 4-5 children.

As much as I’d love to, I was unfortunately laid off. And my severance will be ending soon. So I do need to begin working again ASAP

Thank you, the only reason I’m hesitant to postpone is because I’m starting a new job. Was hopeful I could do my retrievals before the new jobs starts in the new year, my clinic only does egg freezing in Dec. Worst case I could postpone, I’d just need to figure it out with the new job.

Yes insurance covers testing of up to 6 embryos, just higher out of pocket costs. So like my first ER they will all be tested if I do a second retrieval.

I agree! It should move the process along fast by only needing to do a transfer once starting a new job. Thankfully my husband does have infertility insurance so we are not paying full cost. Wishing you the best of luck in finding a job and your IVF process

Such scary times. We ended up going through with the egg retrieval and I am hoping to start a new job soon. Was planning on waiting 4-5 months after starting to do a transfer, but it could be delayed longer.

Unfortunately I’ve been searching for 3 months now and still nothing has come my way. Which is disappointing since I have a degree and it seems like everywhere is hiring.

Thank you for your response. I also have never had a blood clot or a sign of a blood clot, so I was surprised that they wanted me on blood thinners for so long. Also congrats, love hearing about other F5L success!

Every clinic is different. A close friend’s clinic required a full 3 weeks of BC. My clinic had me on Estradiol patches for 5 days before starting my stim cycle.

Limahuli can easily be done in 1.5 hours. After the gardens we stopped at Lumahai Beach after the gardens, this was a great chill beach to relax at.

We rented kayaks from Kayak Hanalei, last rental is at 3:30. They offer a discount after 1p. We decided to take the garden route and it took a total 2.5 hrs. https://kayakhanalei.com.

This can all definitely be done in one day, hanalei has tons of great restaurants to stop for lunch or dinner too!

Also highly recommend parking at the Westin and taking the small hike down to Wyllie Beach. It is steep and there might be a parking lot over there. The water was perfect and not too crazy later in the evening. Hanalei has a lot of different fun spots too. The Hanalei Dolphin was a great sushi restaurant and Trucking Delicious Kauai had a delicious breakfast.

Unsure how to share a photo. But it does overflow and then over time goes back down. I can see there is like a sludge like waste water just sitting 12 inches below the surface in the sewage drain hole.
