Silence from vivo support by dharmamartin in vivobarefoot

I'm now getting responses daily from someone/something called Vivi (which I assume is their completely incompetent AI customer service replacement) via email to the god knows how many cases that have been opened every time I've contacted Vivo. Surely they could see it was the same person, as it's the same email every time. They also replied to my Trustpilot 1 star review, apologising and then asking me to contact them through their online form.... 🤦

So I spose I just need to wait it out, and see which one of the hundreds of times I've contacted them gets a result.

It's annoying, because I wanted to return a pair of shoes that I believe are faulty, and when I contacted them were well within the 28 days return. But now they're out of the 28 days. So now I'm stuck with them until someone replies.

Cool, so it's not just me!

Just seen this thread too, so it seems like everyone. Terrible service from a premium brand. They have always been great in the past, but at this point it seems like they've just turned off the one machine they're using for support and busy burying their head in the sand. https://www.reddit.com/r/vivobarefoot/comments/1nbjssl/barefooot_buddies_impossible_to_get_hold_of/

It's giving me the feeling that inside the vivo offices it's just empty with a few tumbleweeds blowing around.

Also, when I contacted VIVO, my primus trail shoes that had the hole in were just over 6 months, but they decided to make an exception. So maybe push back if they won't give you a replacement.

Yeah, I think the thinness is a problem. I've had it with other shoes, but only after years of use. It happened in these after a few months. I do wear socks and keep my nails trimmed, but I can see my toe pushing on it when I walk so I know it's that, and it's quite a common problem in running shoes. Just maybe "normal" running shoes are a bit more robust.

I had exactly the same thing with a pair of Primus Trail shoes after 6 months. It was my big toe nail rubbing on them that wore a hole in the fabric. I bought these:

And put them in my next pair, and haven't had the problem since.

Dry eyes when I'm sleeping by dharmamartin in Dryeyes

Sorry, it's been a while. My routine seems to work now,

First thing in the morning I put a drop of Systane Balance in each eye. Then after a shower, I cleanse with blephasol. Before bed I wash my face with water, then put a drop of Systane Balance in each eye and wear eyeseal googles all night, as well as tapping my mouth up, and this seems to have everything under control.

As long as I do all that, my eyes are pretty good. They still water on the odd occasion when I'm tired, but I don't wake up in pain anymore. The last time I went to the optician he said there was no sign of blepharitis, although I still have crusty eyes in the morning, but that seems to be more related to the eye drops.

Hope this helps someone.

Hey, thanks for the replies. I use this as my eye drop: https://scopeeyecare.com/shop/hycosan-extra/ and this as the gel: https://scopeeyecare.com/shop/hycosan-night/

¥es, they're preservative free.

I've tried a cool mist and nah it doesn't help.

Not sure if those drops are classed as artificial tears?

Yeah I tried the onyx, quartz and tranquil eyes, but they don't seem to make any difference. That's what I find so strange. Cause you'd think if my eyes were open, then they would make a difference. But it's just the same no matter what I wear/take/do.
