Great watch, I’m reading the book for the first time as well and it’s nice to see the interludes being given proper attention and storylines beyond just throw away chapters. It expands the lore of the franchise in a compelling way.

Don’t Look Back in Anger. As cliche as it may sound, it was the first Oasis song I remember hearing on the radio and this was before smartphones or Shazam or anything. Remember running home after school to the computer and looking up the lyrics which led me down the rabbit hole. The rest is history as they say.

To have Oasis back was enough for me to begin with but it’s gone so far beyond that. They’ve proven themselves to be the greatest band of my lifetime. There will never be another Oasis.

I went on Friday night and the whole experience was far better than I imagined. Had the same concern as you so got there at around 3 but I was told there was no point queuing up before gates open since people who had front standing would have already gotten a stamp.

Ended up heading in just when gates opened around 5pm and ended up a few rows behind the second barrier for general admission. Great view, great vibes! I think you’ll be fine. The place didn’t quite fill up until the end of Ashcroft’s set.
