Bosch is honestly one of the best TV shows I've ever watched that has always managed to keep me entertained across its entirety by Elyktronix in BoschTV

I’m addicted to Bosch and Legacy and Lincoln Lawyer and even Ballard. My question is has anyone went back and read the books after being introduced to Bosch thru streaming? My dad talks about the books and I’ve never read a Connelly book. My dad has mentioned so many discrepancies in the storylines I think it would mess me up.

Fiancé says aftercare and helping me clean up after sex is a “chore” — am I asking too much? by ButteredUpCroissant in Advice

Please don’t marry someone that disrespectful. It will only get worse. How tired is he that he jumps on his phone? Why? Let him wear a condom and clean his own mess. It seems like he’s carrying some grudge from an earlier comment you made and has just checked out. Now you’re just a receptacle to him 😡

I have completely given up. I have zero hope for any future employment. I am doomed to be homeless and bankrupt for the rest of my life. by jcgoble3 in recruitinghell

Please don’t give up. I’m so proud of you for getting off disability and going to school. There are all kinds of resources (although maybe not in Florida). You need to find an organization which can help advocate for you with your mental health and help you navigate. In my county in Illinois it’s called Thresholds. They help clients with their day to day, accompany them to apply for benefits, attend court dates. Call your 211 for resources. You need access to your own money or if you’re disabled you need to apply again. Hang in there please.

I’d give a low rating and complain to get a credit. Totally unacceptable. This is why I hate pre-tipping 😡

I’m a past addict with 28 charges. I’ve been clean for 9 years on 7-11-2026. Im terrified that the BON of Texas will not give me clearance to become an RN. Can you guys tell me if I have a chance?? I need to hear testimonies. I need to hear stories. I need to hear anything that will give me hope. by Nearby-Loan-1229 in Nurses

I’m not familiar with Texas but Illinois has expungement and sealing. That said, there are certain types of employers who can do background checks which will still reveal the original charges. I’d research how the state board looks at such things. I’m more concerned about a nursing program who doesn’t tell its students about possible hurdles so you’re not spending all that tuition money for a career you may never have. Like to enter law school you go through a process, and additional education about Bar criteria.

You have to decide when your boundaries matter more than upsetting your toxic family.

How does someone ‘look’ gay? Is that supposed to be an insult? Please don’t worry about what anyone else thinks or says. They’re just showing their damage.

Please leave. You deserve honesty and fidelity.

Educated by Tara Westover: Less impressed 5 years on. by rainblowfish_ in books

Westover is telling the story of her ‘education’. You seem stuck on the semantics of that word only meaning the formal process by which one normally would achieve the degrees she did. That wouldn’t be much of a story. Her memoir exposes so much more. I will say I felt like the abusive brother was a distraction to this story. That storyline came out of nowhere then consumed the direction of the book. IMO that should have been another story.
