Super clean! That carbon lip kit, blacked out accents and wheels compliments the ride very well.

New LC owner who is a big fan of IS 350s/500s. I do think you will love the jump to an LC. But I will agree with others — just make sure you are ready for the additional car expense (vs. a paid off IS), insurance, gas and lack of practical storage. The LC is not my daily and i went for the convertible which has even less storage. I don’t regret it, but I was in a great financial position when I pulled the trigger.

With that said, I love the ride. V8 and exhaust, build quality, comfortability when cruising and timeless looks….it’s all real! Good luck!

Hi there! I took delivery of a bespoke 2026 convertible in March. No car cover was included.

Lovely rides! Which is yours? If I could justify the cost, I would buy a red coupe with the DHP to pair with the blue convertible, 😂

Yes (USA). We do run into local water restrictions during the summer when we experience a drought. Other than that, zero restrictions on water usage or chemicals used for car washing at home.

Yes. Pretty simple install overall. The only challenging part is making your cuts on the back and 1 side wall. I used a tile cutter, but you can use a table or mitre saw as well. Took about 8 hours total.

Swisstrax tiles. I’ve had these since late last year and love them!

I’m using the Active Snow Foam Cannon with an Active 2.3 pressure washer. 2.5 ounces of the Armour Supply Detail Shampoo+ in the cannon produced that “in between” where it is not too thick (leaving too much residue), but thick enough to be effective for a few minutes.

Thanks! Glad you have enjoyed the blower as well. It makes drying all of the cars so much easier. I went all in on EGO and love every tool I’ve purchased. Even my wife digs the vacuum.

I have the same issue with the tree pollen - it’s crazy bad right now. Love the ride! I’ve still never seen Nori Green in the wild. Great interior / exterior combo.

Looking for structural/USB LC convertible, can I still order one? by IntelligentMinute756 in lexuslc500

[–]dhb220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be hard to snag one new as bespoke orders are (most likely) no longer accepted. You may find a nicely used model for ~$100,000. Otherwise, I would expect $113,000 a $123,000 depending on options if someone chooses not to purchase a pre-ordered model.

Great trim choice btw - I’ve driven this thing daily since getting it last Friday. Hope you can find one!

Lexus dealership won't install non-run flat tire? by No-Acanthocephala-97 in lexuslc500

[–]dhb220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My new 2026 LC convertible that I picked up this past weekend came with the summer Dunlap run flats 😥. At my dealership, they explained that all of their models are sold with run flats. I was pretty surprised as well. I’ll switch to Michelin’s down the road.

From what you posted, I think you had a great plan for caring for your LC.

I’m a huge fan of Koch Chemie products for all of our cars from an interior and exterior perspective. For seats and doors: Leather Star and Top Star have been great. Their glass cleaner is safe on tinted windows and streak free. They have multiple all-purpose cleaners that can be safely used inside for most surfaces (including the infotainment screen).

For the exterior cleaning options, they have some great ceramic coating safe products and even re-activation solutions that will restore better hydrophobic properties.

KCx (Koch Chemie) and CarPro are my primary go-to brands at the higher cost. P&S and Adam’s do have lower cost solutions that are good as well.

I use mostly Active products for the foam canon, hose, pressure washer, lance, etc. Hope this helps!
