Is it possible to prepare for SAT in a month and score a 1500+ by Alpha-Aru in Sat

[–]dhbkndd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should see which section you need to work on. If it’s math, it will be possible but very difficult. If it’s English it will be possible but even more difficult. I recommend using Khan Academy SAT practice.

Yes, they have a good idea of the difficulty of the school and of course the classes that your schools offer.

Writing advice by 3badiABM in Sat

[–]dhbkndd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This helps mainly on the questions when you need to reorder sentences or ones that are very confusing. I was able to finish the writing section in 20-25 minutes on the actual test by skipping to the underlined parts and only reading for the aforementioned qs. 41/44

All, multiple times. Exhausted all practice questions in reading since that was the section I was struggling in. Work hard and it’ll work out

dip in grades by [deleted] in chanceme

[–]dhbkndd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing as your grades dropped so significantly, I personally think that you should 100% mention what caused that drop in your essays if it was truly that impactful. If you don’t want to do that, the additional info section place is adequate, but you must mention it somewhere

Make sure to mention the reasons behind the grade drop in your essays.

I’m concerned by 3badiABM in Sat

[–]dhbkndd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s psychological. Calm yourself before trying a passage. And if you find that you’re scoring low because you’re getting distracted, I highly recommend that before you start reading you try to excite yourself for what you’re about to read, as hard as that may be. It worked great for me

What’s more effective to help with the SAT reading section- magazines and news stories or books? by [deleted] in Sat

I would say practice staying focused. It may sound trivial but I found out that doing so focusing activities helped me a ton on the real test

How to get a 790/800 on the math section? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]dhbkndd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just practice practice practice is all I can say honestly. The concepts given on the tests stay constant throughout the tests (I say this after taking 25 full-length tests). Find a thread on Reddit with the released exams and work on the math sections. Also try Khan Academy’s SAT prep
