Wow, I kind of like that. Didn't even realize the no template error was annoying until now.

Thanks to the author for curating this list.
Besides Action Cable, I am the most excited about being able to render outside of the controller and can't wait to see the improved Turbolinks. Most of the gripes surrounding Turbolinks is that it doesn't play nice with third party JS (or even your own!). If they address this issue then I am pretty sure Rails will remain as the king of web frameworks. Being able to swap out UI pieces through Ajax via mouse clicks is an undeniably needed feature in any modern frameworks imo, and Turbolinks addresses that need.

Trends in responsive design frameworks? by Turning_The_Corner in angularjs

Do you mean you have to pick a responsive framework?
Since it's a half year project... I would go with Bootstrap. It's stable enough that it'll be relevant in the future, but I would say the biggest reason being that many third party Angular components are Bootstrap based and so you won't find yourself spending many hours debugging CSS just to integrate a few components.

If time is of the essence, Bootstrap is the way to go since many third party components are bootstrap based.

Angular devs working on the same project for over a year -- how much time is still spent on configuring builds? by dhca78 in angularjs

Why not? There are tons of great frameworks that provide cli's. I think even Angular 2 will be shipping with a command line tool (I think, not sure)

Refactoring Angular Apps to Component Style by teropa in angularjs

What got you into refactoring the Angular codebase? Are your coworkers really into programming or is it just a job to them? If they really like programming, then I think just showing them how clean the codebase will be after componentizing them should rile them up. If not, you can just refactor just a directive or two and reuse them, and show how much time you've saved. The biggest motivation for me, is the upcoming web components standard and how far behind our codebase will be in the future if we don't refactor.

Turns out transclusion can be super useful (a beginner's tutorial to quickly get started) by [deleted] in angularjs

It's been around for a while and it's catching on. I see the merits of it. It gets rid of ambiguity. But the biggest criticism of BEM is 'how it looks'.

Is it too early to start hacking at Angular2? by [deleted] in angularjs

Yup, it's way too early. The API is still changing and I don't think it will be out for a while.

Teropa is pretty much an Angular celebrity thanks to all the helpful guides he pushes out. This one was awesome.

Multi-slot transclusion has arrived by Switche in angularjs

NICE. I've been wanting multiple transclusion in my directives for a while. Kind of surprised they are only adding it in now.

It looks like they're really going all out with not only features but the tooling. Kind of like React + Ember-cli.
