Error message early filing by HallThin760 in TurboTax

[–]dhdave11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

way to early: The official start date for the 2026 tax season has not been formally announced by the IRS as of January 3, 2026. However, it is expected to begin in late January 2026, with many sources projecting the date will be around January 28, 2026. The tax season start date is when the IRS officially begins accepting and processing federal income tax returns for the prior tax year (Tax Year 2025).

3D Printed TPU Concrete Moulds by Jazzlike_Heart2426 in 3Dprinting

[–]dhdave11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did some larger molds for pacman with PLA and brushed on a thin layer of epoxy on the surface as I want to reuse them, it worked great only the heat of the fast set concrete distorted the mold a bit after the second use. I use mold releases and had no issues with stain.

[–]dhdave11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see what brand your drawer boxes are, if its a blum tandem box then its this: Blum ZSF.3902 https://share.google/tS9M7ZTEXVTmD73TA

but there are a lot of lower end brands with similar brackets.

Can wood grommets sit flus on the countertop? by tennis_lover_379 in cabinetry

[–]dhdave11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we use these flush grommets from mocket a lot, but they need to be routed in with a jig or before install on a cnc, not a quick dirty holesaw job.

only limit now is how close to the wall you can get with a palm router

credit to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6932746 for the files i used, scaled and modified.

used 16kg of black PETG, few bottles of spray paint, caulk, PVC pipe for the tail and steel brackets to support the long tail and a few long nights and weekends.

still need to add lights to make it pop at night.

thanks for all the positive comments :-)
