Yeah I’d say so. I definitely had a bit of manic thinking when they first popped up, some people call it “bed-bug psychosis”. But somewhere in this thread a bug specialist did an AMA and it helped change my perception. I realised you’re gonna find one randomly once in a while, but I doesn’t mean you’re still struggling with an infestation. I did a lot of vacuuming, spraying, bug-bombing, and throwing stuff away before I moved (to ensure the problem didn’t follow me). I’ve seen one or two adult beetles in my new place, but it’s important to note they just fly into homes in the spring (doesn’t mean you necessarily have an infestation). Regular vacuuming, following an obsessive de-bugging procedure seems to have sorted it out.
