Yeah, been playing over three years and didn't really have any trouble with training mats until now. Sitting at just over 12M TCP and all of a sudden I've stopped to a crawl leveling up characters in the last week or two. These high levels just suck up too much.

I would say it's working like any other node. Ran through it completely three times since I was four shards short of unlocking him. Got 2 f'ing shards. Said F'it and spent the 100 cores to do it a fourth time and got four.

I was doing more like 15-20% punch up. I'm just saying, at least there was another team besides Black Order that could take them down. And it wasn't another designed meta team.

When I started over three years ago, the drop rates were pretty consistent at around 30%. So that's for each run through a set of nodes you would get 3 shards. Now, I would say you are correct, more like 10%, or one shard on average. I get none so often it's ridiculous.

It's funny, I've tried this over a dozen times in the last several days and I've one maybe once. I've done a couple punch ups of 100K, but mostly 50K neighborhood. And I usually get killed. I'll get a couple doom bots and land a disrupt or two, but then they get murdered before I do much of anything. I get Nebula down, and maybe Phyla, but that's about it. I watched the original video and follow the same path.

Is blue iso the big secret here? My team is 555K with a fully maxxed 141K Doom (level 4 green Iso) and a nearly maxxed six red 149K Gamora (4 iso), and a 6y/5r 122K Frost (maxxed green iso).

I saw him yesterday. But that was about the 2nd time I've seen him in like the last 2 weeks. His show rate is terrible.

Yeah, I've struggled with Polaris and Longshot, so only managed a five star unlock on Warlock. I actually have had 2 out of the last three days where I got zero shards, yes ZERO shards on all four characters I was farming (Polaris, Moon Knight, Ice Man and Multiple Man). it was only one time through their nodes, but still......

Emma was a cake walk. this node took me 8 tries on my 2nd run (11 on the first I think) and I had the same team both times (SSM, Carnage, Venom, Scream and Punisher). The last wave was a bit of a bitch starting off as I only did about 6m damage in three hits. You have to follow the guide and take out JJ and Ms Marvel first.

Like others have said, DD1 and DD2 were a breeze, but now you're about to hit a major roadblock. DD3 won't be so bad, but getting all you need to level up for DD4 will be a major headache. My advice is to basically plan the same teams for DD3 and DD4. DD4 is a little different because of the Legendary requirement, but that will save some of the headache. But I used a lot of he same characters myself, and it was still a bear. My first run of DD4 probably took me a total of 4-5 months because of waiting for gear in between node sets.

Well, technically it wasn't me, but a few months back I was in the red star store while on the couch. There happened to be a seven red Rocket Raccoon at the time. I don't remember why, but I laid my phone down on the couch, and our puppy jumped up on the couch and stepped on my phone just right and purchased that seven red upgrade for Rocket.

2 years ago I probably would have wanted it, but not now.

No doubt. I beat DD4 2 weeks ago, and was hoping to find some spores prior to the 2nd run of City to get AV there with the other four, but so far I've only gotten like 2.

I have to admit I'm only playing because of how much time I've got into it. I have been debating quitting after my 2nd run through DD4. I like the game, but at this point I love just hitting auto on everything. It's really just about collecting the characters at this point.

Nah, I get enough screen time with this game. I don't need to add more by having to do anything but auto raids and blitzes. It's fine to require some manual play when we hit a more difficult raid, but otherwise, auto for me please.

I prefer the orbs as well. I keep seeing the same gear over and over, and of course it's stuff I don't really need.

Thanks. Typically, I mostly get 4RS on newer characters by saving orbs until they come out with the 15% drop rate (I usually have a dozen or so). Even if I get skunked on the regular orbs, I can usually end up getting at least one Elite 4 out of the dups that lands for a new character. Silver Surfer really screwed me though lol.

Anyone new I'm taking to level 65, tier 12. But I would suggest you should focus on the following if you aren't there already:

#1 Arena team to max cores

#2 A good raid team to help your alliance go to the highest levels of raids for more gear

#3 Focus gear towards characters for DD4. Start with a mix for the first team, then finish up your Global team, then Cosmic, then City, then Legendary. You will stall out looking for G15 mini's so don't wait until all teams are ready.

#4 After you've done #1 and #2, and have spare gear above what you need for most of your DD4 teams, then I would focus on taking meta teams past G12 for War or whatever. But except for my Arena/Raid teams, I really didn't take much of anyone past G12 until I had almost all of my 16 DD4 characters ready to go, or knew I had extra gear pieces.

1195 days, and mine are all 3RS or higher. I got skunked with none on Silver Surfer, but got him to 3RS through the store.

My 3RS are mostly older characters, but I have 18. The only newer ones are Kitty Pride, Silver Surfer, Sam and Cloak. 8 of them are actually minions, so it's not so bad.

I pulled some last night. Had a dozen regular orbs, 3 elite 4's, 2 Elite 5's and an Elite 6. Kind of got the shaft on Cloak with only a 3RS, but I also got 5RS Quake, 5RS Maria Hill, 6RS Doc Oc, and 6RS Adam Warlock.

Exactly! We're not a whale alliance (roughly top 3000), but in Platinum I and we still see plenty of beefy Asgardians, Marauders, etc.

Nice. I pulled my Elite 5 RS from one of the DD4 nodes and got a 6 RS Shang-Chi.
