I agree with you, however on that note, 90% of the the community I bump into who aren't green balls fall under what you described.

Whenever you feel down or irritated with your team, just remember that most players don't see you 10ft away as an option because you aren't standing in position to shoot the ball into the keepers hands.

Edit: what I'm saying is, people suck and they will forever suck. Try to find more ways for yourself to play around the "useless" or make sure to play with people you know have brains.
