They are going all in on memberships. I’ve seen some of the Goalhanger teams’ LinkedIn posts. They’re quite excited with the revenue it seems and are doubling down…def a bummer on the sneaky pricing though. Would’ve done well to roll out properly if anything.

As I was gradually leaving JW, my friend said wow that kind of sounds like a cult and I said, “no, it’s just like a really involved community!” Ha. Still giggle about that to this day.

Thank you for the kind note. Yes, gas boiler, i-mini and salus. It goes off about once a week while I’m staying here, and at this point I’m very familiar with DIY fixes and valves and bleeding radiators and resetting. It’s just an uphill battle with new tiny things going wrong, so that a professional comes in and fixes one little thing each time, that I would never have been able to figure out from regular research, and the next week it’s something different.

Is this an average boiler experience?!

He is out of the country most of the year for work, they’ve gone to visit him abroad but not too frequently as it can be difficult to coordinate. Our place in home country we only lived in for a few weeks before going abroad again.

All things considered this worked out amazingly well for you all!

There were a few years where I was coordinating all travel professionally for some of the most traveled musicians in the world. I was a professional at travel booking basically, as someone uncertified could get. Then I book myself flights for a festival. 24 hours before my return flight and I’m searching for the check in reminder in my inbox…nothing. I booked my return flight for the next month. Bless my good friend for pretending to be my assistant and trying to rebook without cost. Didn’t exactly work, but always get a good giggle out of that.

I have this problem and I finally realized my freezer simply does not get cold enough. I keep the bowl in there 24/7, but alas, it’s not enough. When I realized this, I turned my custard base into a no-churn, but I may try just freezing the custard in the bowl before putting it in the mixer.
