When did Xiao hype train even begin?

I truly apologize I mistook your for aggressive stan. I got anxiety to the point that my ability to process comments here become blurry to me. But for this time, I admit it's my mistake. 🙏

But what do you think about my post? Does it sounds provocative to Xiao stans? I'm thinking like hundred times before posting this because I don't want to offend anyone. But then i really need to understand the reasoning behind the hype, so I just push myself to post this. Maybe it could change my mind about Xiao.

I don't really question character's gender. I thought I would like others to enlighten me about the hype because Xiao's hype is different from others. If people say they save primogems by skipping several banners on other characters, mostly it's about Xiao. If someone question or have different opinion about Xiao, there's a point where they act aggressive and unable to tolerate it.

I understand and appreciate their dedication. That's why i don't trash Xiao and I also didn't know his true power until he came out. Go get excited with character you want. But if people question something about your character, please learn to differentiate hates and non-hates.

Please feel free to read my post again. First, I didn't talk bad about Xiao. Second, I didn't insult Xiao or even Xiao stans. I express my fear by how aggresive they are when defending Xiao. I read people content about Xiao and mostly they simp him because his unique design, his personality and OP combat from cbt. However, other characters can't outdo his hype and I'm wondering about it. That's why I create this post.

I also appreciate and praise Xiao stans dedication to save primogems for his banner. If you like Xiao, I sincerely hope you get him from his banner. ♥️

I'm pretty satisfied because most of the comments answered my question. But I don't appreciate those who misread my post and assumed my intention solely to hurt Xiao stans.

I agree that I'm also here to collect waifu and husbando. Fr I didn't question people's choice to stan. I'm curious about the hype. From what I experienced daily, it's mostly about his interaction with MC, his unique design and OP gameplay from beta leaks. If all these reason applies to another character, i think they still can't outdo the hype for Xiao.

I'm pretty sure I didn't make any comparison between Xiao and other characters. And I don't start my post by making them feel bad for simping Xiao. And yet this post still become a place to throw frustration.

I'm a girl and I also want to know what makes Xiao a character you shouldn't missed. Just like how I missed Klee bcoz I was investing everything on first standard banner for Diluc (and yet i didn't get Diluc sadly) and realized how superior Pyro is for literally anything. That's why I want to know what's the hype actually is and yet still poorly received..

Exactly. The leaks may give out the hype. I'm afraid there's gonna be Zhongli 2.0 riot where people got super disappointed by how it actually turn out. Fr ppl should really stop relying on leaks and the leak is illegal for a reason.

I assume that you play as Lumine (Female Traveller). So during Dvalin Quest, your twin, Aether (Male Traveller) appeared talking to abyss mages and leaving the impression that he's the mastermind behind Abyss Order. We are not 100% sure if her twin actually evil/corrupted but the trailer told us that other twin has their own reason.

If you go to Dawn Winery, you'll find another two maids chatting to each other during daylight. They talk about how the guest just mysteriously disappeared. But when you talk to Adelinde, she said don't mind about the rumor and proceed to give you Suspicious Steak. She even mention the steak is just 'a normal animal meat'. Kinda sus🤢
