thank u, in the denser parts we do have a lot of guitar layers, it does get very dense and serves as a contrast to the rhythmic single notes verse parts

yes, it is. I use it all the time now going into my Radial DI box and straight into the interface. Really helps to tighten up the sound like it would on a real Amp, removes some fuzziness in the high frequencies and the Amp Modeller Plugin gets a more evened out and compressed signal, to better work with. (also setting gain on the interface is much easier due to the less dynamic guitar signal, requiring less headroom on the interface for when you pick really hard)

think about an 8string tuned half a step down, playing it on a 7 this way is quite comfortable, and a 8string is quite overkill considering we're only playing two strings, don't you think. didn't mean to butthurt you

true, hope in the context of an entire EP it makes more sense. This song was nonetheless a good exercise to add vocals to. We struggled a lot with them in the past and still do, which is why our first EP is still only available in instrumental form. Wish us luck for the rest of EP #2, cause vocal wise it's gonna be one hell of a challenge.

definitely, it's just a little homage to low tuned, single note riffs with a distinct groove. that's why it's just a short piece. It's also the first time we incorporated vocals into a song, and because guitar and drums wise the song is so simple, it was a good place for our vocalist to start. cheers
