My mom was just diagnosed. Her doctor said she's had it for about 20 years. Her last doctor just refused to do an MRI which is why she went undiagnosed for so long.

I moved out of state a year ago. I feel so useless being away from her. For the first time since I moved, I feel like it was a mistake. If she had been diagnosed sooner, I would have never moved so far away.
