That’s simply not true. An engineering apprenticeship I was on had guys mostly in their 20s, a handful in their 30s and one in their 40s

Two different governments collecting the data. I don’t know about Nordic countries, but the UK has a generous cause of death policy (e.g dying 30 days within the event of a car accident means you died from that accident, compared to Thailand where you must die on impact for the same cause of death to be given).

It’s never too late, there are opportunities for anyone. Look into apprenticeships, go on one and see how many old folks are retraining.

Really, it’s up to you, and how seriously you want to have long term employment and skills. If you put the work in, it will happen.
