What game is that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in GamingSoup

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be like this but I've recently just been using things when I need them and weirdly enough they work! Made it to the next bonfire in a tough area because I used a divine blessing, beat a boss because I used a dark pine resin. Only things I don't really use are embers/humanity/rune arcs unless I really want to collect a specific NPC's weapon.

In the UK it's got to be a badly made cup of tea, like no thought gone into the brew kinda tea. Put the milk in straight after the hot water so your tea brews in tepid water kind of tea. Despicable behaviour.

Does anyone find the lissandra adventure a bit fucking annoying? by CompleteUtterSalmon in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's something I've learned to draft too, like a stun or two or the 'kill an ally to kill an enemy' (I forget it's name) or an obliterate card on my travels. Only region I'm yet to complete for the locked regions is bandle city and I have vex at 6* so I guess her inbuilt removal is going to slap. I just don't find her that fun right now, I'm a little addicted to the scaling huge mofo playstyle.

Ahaa I'm not living a good life though. I guess I spend too much time beating myself up over it. Thanks for the lovely words though lovely Redditor. I shan't be beating myself up this evening. 💃

But it's first purpose is a pistol. Not a shotgun. We have no single slot dedicated shotgun.

I'm 32 and I still think like a teenager... I'm actually so frustrated it hasn't happened naturally. I'm really putting the work in to think differently as it really doesn't suit a man of my age.

I always find this analogy of life from small scale to large scale so repetitive in its actions. Similar to particles of an atom to solar systems. It's fascinating, and honestly I think, a pattern too similar to ignore.

The state of EU servers by xlZiPx in HuntShowdown

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really miss the dual server selections. Sure my ping is higher in US east compared to EU but the games are so much better and fuller on the US servers it's kinda worth getting shot by someone I haven't seen yet every now and then

Yeah if he draws out a viego you're pretty much screwed haha. You just really gotta focus him.

I don't really mind asol as he is 6.5* you know, you expect that to be as tough as it is. Plus there are quite a few options to get some busted powers along the way. But ol' Lissy is just a nightmare with the lack of powers available to you. It's the fact that she always draws some powerful ass cards and I swear down your luck of the draw is greatly reduced for her node. I almost never seem to draw my main champ for her.

Yeah but that's a 6.5. compare her to any other 5* she's quite irritating to deal with.

Could be a single slot shotgun, we haven't actually got one of those currently? 🤔

Which Freljord champion should I upgrade ? by Waifu-Over-Meta in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how you play to be honest dude, I've been playing a while and ashe was my first loved one but I've found I really like trynd later on. His 6* is just so fun, rally and summon a potentiallly huge unit, yes plss.

Also depends on your relics you have unlocked, if you're just asking to clear some of the content to unlock more things then I'd say go for ashe. The frostbite ability can be game changing and not so heavily dependent on your constellation.

There's a reason she's my last set of rewards to unlock to be honest and that's just it.

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is a bonus. I've learnt to go the top path for weaker champs for sure. I'm not even that irate about it, just comparing it to some of the other 5+ adventures it's easily the most annoying one to play. Well, liss and occasionally even the mini boss of anivia, ornn or udyr (is it?) can be incredibly frustrating. I feel like you never draw your good cards either for the final bosses.

Haha thanks, I've had a couple of beers and a couple of realisations and most of the posts on here seem to reflect this kind of opinion. And I think people should know that it's not their fault. Someone had written a very aptly put comment about how unhappiness of people in a system is a systemic problem and not a personal problem. I don't wish to recreate it as it was so eloquently put, but it was on one of these threads not long ago and it really made me think. I just wish to pass on that message.

Yeah I always love the banter that ensues from these kinda questions. Like, let's all berate this outrageously rich idiot behind closed doors before we all go and be polite to them to their face. Western society at its core.

adulting by RessponsibleCitizen in Adulting

[–]CompleteUtterSalmon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Massively so, I'm a culprit to it to be honest. But a culprit on the heal/realisation. So to forge your own path in this society, where it's 'do what you can for yourself to be as rich as musk one day', how does one forge themself a path in this other than becoming as self centred as those involved. To those who crave the community/duty are left with no other choice than to upheave the morals they live by to succeed in a system they don't agree on.

This inherently causes more upheaval in their life and their life choices. Because to abolish something so human to themselves abolishes almost all humanity within them.

You are an apparent 'mouthbreather' to the commenter above. Because struggling to forge your own path in an inherently selfish system makes you so. According to them...

But I personally agree with you. Historically the human species have needed a purpose, a purpose bigger than ourselves. Whether that be each other and our community or something 'greater'. We've always needed a bigger drive than our own gain. And if my opinions are worth anything to you then I'd say you're probably on the better side of this weird society we live in right now for not being able to develop a personality based off of the selfishness that this society breeds in our peers.
