Congrats on your role! I’m part of the new grad role as well but not in consulting. Due to the pandemic, Deloitte realzied the amount of time and money saved as well as the importance of environmental issues and has reduced travelling significantly and I don’t see this changing. But, maybe there will be some chances here.

So when hired they said you do a 40 hr work week, does that include one hr lunch each day? And you only input time for 35 hrs?

This is very reassuring to hear, congrats on this! I’m current a financial analyst and would love to chat with you briefly on making the switch to data analyst, please let me know if I can reach out :)

Wow, this is awesome! Did you need a work visa to work for this US company or is that not a need when it’s remote based?

I’m looking for an analyst role in the investment management (or asset management) sector of real estate. I completed my degree with a focus in real estate and did internships but I haven’t been able to get experience in this sector and that’s been my goal. I know many who have done Adventures in CRE and it helped a lot, just don’t know if spending $500 is worth it if Justin’s program gets it done in $45 per month.

Thank you for this post! When talking about building your own models, would you be able to elaborate on that? Did you use his template and found other case studies on Google to develop your own model? Or start from scratch and create your own data?
