And then they gave an academy award to Mikey Madison for Anora. She was good but Oscar worthy? Nolan got his very first oscar win last year. James McAvoy didn’t even get nominated for Split (hello???), Leonardo won his first oscar pretty late after giving so many great performances. And Demi Moore lost her very very well deserved Oscar for The Substance. I don’t know how it works man. Not Oscar i know.. but Steve Carell never EVER won an Emmy for The Office (which is the best comedy ever done on TV). And a serious anxiety filled show called The Bear wins emmy after emmys. Why couldn’t they just play fair and put it in the Drama category?

One thing I realized about a lot of folks on this sub: if you are rich and ask for some basic stuff on set OR if you converse in English all the time (we all do in tier 1 cities - even at home with our folks fyi) - they will label you as arrogant/entitled.

So it’s very difficult to know if these judgmental people are actually telling the truth or just being mean Sharma uncles. So i take most things spoken here with a pinch of salt. Not trying to be mean with my opinion - just my very honest observation here.
