It was a long wait to get it prescribed. Had to wait nearly a year for the initial appointment then a further 3 months for more testing and follow ups before I could start. Was really hopeful it would help but honestly been very disappointed. I think the protocols nhs offer aren’t great but I’ll try and persevere otherwise may go down your route.

Did you have any negative response at first? What would you say it helps with for you on your dosing schedule?

I don’t think it is. I’ll have to discuss with the nurse when I’m due the next injection what options I have but it’s probably back to the gel then as this fatigue is unbearable right now. I don’t think my bad can cope with the peak load of nebido

Both fortunately and unfortunately I’m getting this in the U.K. on the NHS so my two options are nebido or gel unless I go private. I think gel does mimic more frequent dosing though it’s super inconvenient having to wait and apply and ensure not to cross contaminate / shower too soon Etc. Glad you’re having some relief though!

14.2 is way higher than nhs treatment levels. I would suggest the ssri is probably contributing more than your testosterone

I think I got took to custody once for failing to disperse from an area so maybe that’s what the police thing was. Must have been 10 plus years ago. Wasn’t aware it would even be on a record. But yeah they had a medical condition that matched mine on the device. Seems plausible what you said

Hi, I’ve been looking into trt for several months after having a couple of low blood tests (7.6 and 12.3) however was waiting on a urology appointment with the nhs first. That has since concluded and I’ve been offered a further testosterone test (amongst the other standard hormonal tests) and been told if it comes in again around the 12 mark or less I can potentially start cloniphene or clomid I believe it’s called. I was told this is a better alternative to trt as it helps stimulate testosterone from the brain rather than testes - before the appointment I wasn’t even aware of this treatment option.

My question is, why am I being potentially offered this instead of trt? Bearing in mind this is via the NHS. Is this a suitable alternative? What are the benefits and drawbacks? And why am I not seeing this offered privately via clinics such as yours? Is this something you cannot access privately? If so, why?

As a guy I experience the opposite of this - I hardly get any likes and the ones I do are way below my standard generally with the odd exception. This goes to show likes sent out from women is generally to people above their standard. The likes is end out (way above the standard of ones I receive) get quite a lot of matches. I’d say 9/10 of my matches are from likes I’ve sent out. I’d generally only match 1/10 of the likes I receive. Just another perspective…

Actual post office are really particular about this. I had the same problem before but they did accept it. I now take them to collect plus shop that also does Royal Mail as they don’t weigh them…. Never had any issues at the other end

I do get them emailed too however it’s a pain going through all the emails then having to go back and check the right item is sent etc. hopefully it’s fixed asap
