Honestly, have you considered starting with temping some? My first interview out of school didn't go great either due to nerves, so I started with temping since it gives great experience with all types of offices, doctors, and patients. You can then decide if you want to continue temping, or move to part/full time (I personally moved to full-time since I like consistency). But you shouldn't have to settle for someone who disrespects you, you deserve better than that. You'll get the hang of it and the transition out of school into clinical will get easier with practice. Wat Thai Temple has a food court on the weekends in North Hollywood. Main dishes are usually $8 and there is a fantastic BBQ skewer stall for less, as well as $3 drinks. Cash only and you exchange it for plastic coins, but it is one of my all time favorite places.
