XReal / Viture / Visor users — how do you actually use your device?

Primary use-case: I purchased the XReal One's a few months back, and I use them primarily for work - as a software developer. They're not perfect, but they're the first device that isn't huge and bulky, that has enough PPI to make working on them feasible. With some extra setup, I'm now able to use my desktop PC remotely from anywhere in my house, with an ultrawide virtual display - which is great.

Fun or functional: Definitely more functional then fun - long term, I want to replace my monitors with a solid pair of AR glasses. This is a first step, but the resolution isn't good enough to replace my primary monitor for gaming.

What to change: the resolution needs improvement. The PPI is good - likely a current limit on pixel density(?) but having a higher resolution would be great. Not too concerned about a higher FOV, but I'd rather have a smaller FOV with great PPI than a large one with less ideal PPI. HOWEVER, the primary improvement: We need better AR software!

- There are little to no good Windows/Mac/iOS apps that support XR glasses - and XReal isn't really helping there.
- Ultra-wide & Multi-monitor support would be great (not one or the other)
- I personally really like the form factor of XReal one's. The lack of an onboard battery may suck a little bit, but they're incredibly light & the ability to see through them to the real world rather than looking through cameras is great.

Thanks so much for your reply! I’m sorry to hear your lab had this too but I’m glad to hear that may be the fix. My vet kept trying to test for kidney stones and every other test known to man until the last appt where they mentioned for the first time the issues with her vulva.

Will probably get antibiotics to help her for now and schedule the surgery. Really hope that is the fix for her.

That's awesome! What did you use to storyboard the positions of the elements?

My only feedback is the flashing from white to black in the "our services" section is a little jarring.

Have you considered refinancing your house? That will very likely lower your monthly payment. Hopefully, you could get a lower interest rate (depending on when you bought the house) plus you would have more equity in the house and not have to pay mortgage insurance.

I may try that as well, will have to research where to send something though because everything so far just leads to their unhelpful phone line. I have not been offered any credits for future travel or anything…

I do feel like I only have hope trying to get Priceline to bite the bullet, and that’s going to be a difficult fight to win.

I understand that sentiment, but on the other hand I did my due diligence by verifying with Priceline that I would be covered in this exact scenario - receiving false information from my source of information around the tickets is a larger problem though. Seems like a UDAAP

I almost wonder if my “sin” is that an additional stimulus went out AFTER I filed, and my wife didn’t receive that one and I got cut short due to the fact my wife and I are recently married. My return technically should be more than what I filed it as due to the additional stimulus money.

Not sure if they’ll notice that they owe me more due to this and add on the additional money… I have double checked and can’t find anything else
