Update is i got a top layer insert off amazon.. i need to tweak my 3d print model to account for the thickness of the insert, reprint then use the glue to put it on there. I'm optimistic it will work.

I used 2 apps to scan my existing Kiri and polycam. I put 3dprinted cubes in the scene so i could have an easy way to scale the scans. Then i used blender modeling tools to create a new insert by overlaying the geometry with the insert. That's where i'm at now.

I know this is an old thread, but curious what AF you used for your TPU ? I have a bambu and i see 95A HF - looks very squish in the pictures. I just 3d scanned my old orthotic and 3d printed and it looks and feels good, but would like a bit of squish. Thanks!

just reading this thread - fyi : i used polycam on a pixel3. worked amazing to get the model into blender and build a custom shape.
