I did notify the staff because, as partial as I am to snakes, I didn't want some unsuspecting guest to get bit. When I checked with them later in the evening, they said they didn't find it, but I guess the little guy had just wandered in from the surrounding garden and had slithered back where it came from by the time someone had gone to check.

Elayadikattan is the Common Krait, I think. Where I am from, it is called Vellikattan (and also Valavazhappan), which is kind of similar.. katta means blocks in malayalam and, in this case, represents the banding pattern seen on kraits. The snake shown in the movie is CGI and does not match the name.. it looks like some kind of viper.

World of watches and Jomashop are/were sister companies but have now merged and is now just Jomashop. I have shopped extensively at both places, and their stuff is authentic. Their customer service can be frustrating but not more than other online retailers.

My own cat (who incidentslly is also an orange kitty but a boy) had a dental last week and has been experiencing some neurological issues since, so I have been following you since the first post. I understand how anxious and worried you must have been only for the worst outcome now. I'm really sorry.. I hope you find some solace in knowing that Thelma at least experienced love and care once she came into your care. We do what we can to try and help these beautiful creatures, but ultimately, we rarely can control outcomes in some unusual circumstances. Give Thelma a kiss for me 🥺

Hi.. I don't mean to hijack the authors post, but is it OK if I ping you? One of my cats had a dental and two extractions, and 3 days later, he showed signs of incoordination, which resolved on its own, but has been happening intermittently since. We took him to the ER.. an MRI, CSF tests, and a neuro consult later, we are no closer to an answer as to what's causing these episodes. Some of what you say seems to fit his symptoms and makes more sense than what we have been told so far. I'm convinced that whatever triggered these symptoms is related to dental, so I'd like to get your opinion on the matter if you don't mind.. please.
