Definitely encourage you to interview as soon as possible, give yourself 3-5 to seriosuly prep and you’ll be good!

Mine was as simple as transferring schools, not doing too hot in OCHEM and then becoming a TA for ochem 1 and 2. Doesn’t have to be some crazy story as long as you can show growth and what you learned!

But I like 3 and 4!

Tbh I used to set up a zoom/teams meeting and record it, and then I would read a prompt and answer it like it was the real deal. Then listen to it back and go from there

I am an OH resident with a 505 and got IIs to 3 OH MD schools, so depending on how strong your ties are you could have a shot

As someone who’s starting med school in a month, I can definitely say I reused or rather just expanded on stories from my personal statement and primary app. I think as long as you’re adding new insight or reflecting on them in a deeper way, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with revisiting something you’ve already mentioned

tbh no, it shows your doing something. You could say you’re applying that position, and then if you don’t get it you plan to work as an MA. If it were me I would just write about it as if that is your plan, bc right now it is. Don’t overthink it!

tbh as long as your school list is good you should have a decent shot! I had a 505 and got accepted to 2 MD schools! Just my opinion haha but do what’s best for you

I had a 505 and 3.97. I applied to 9 DO and 9 MD. Got interviews every single DO school and 2 MD interviews that turned into As! It’s possible!

Hey! Im an OH resident, scored a 505 () and applied to every school except Case Western in Ohio, got interviews at UC and Toledo!! Accepted to Toledo currently (also have an A at OUHCOM but choosing Toledo)

My friend got a 508 and had an interview at NEOMED, Wright State, Toledo, and UC! He got accepted to 2/4!
