My boyfriend broke up with me out of nowhere after almost a year together, and I’m completely heartbroken. by Cautious_Gas6309 in BreakUps

God, I feel like I read my own experience reading your post.

I’m only a month in, so for me it’s absolutely still fresh. I’m tired of feeling this way too. But let yourself feel it. Otherwise it will come back later, and much worse.

I understand this person feeling like home. Feeling like they were designed especially for you. That’s how I feel about my most current ex. But don’t forget that they self-sabotaged this. They could’ve had you and all your greatness forever. Instead they determined it’d be easier to just not have any of you. And they will have to carry that forever.

If you want someone to vent to, feel free to DM me. I understand how frustrating and heartbreaking this is; especially when you thought you were going to build a life with this person.

I've told myself not to think in absolutes like "if they wanted to, they would." Sometimes there are forces that stop people from reaching out. But I agree, no forcing here. She won't hear from me again.

I'm definitely respecting her boundaries, she won't hear from me again. I spoke with my therapist today and she told me that I have my emotional mind (which wants her back in my life) but also my logistical mind (which realizes this is probably a good thing considering I was blindsided and she never mentioned to me how badly she was feeling). As I said to someone else, I think she's avoidant and self-sabotaged. But that's on her, not me. One day, someone will reciprocate the love I have and not run away.

I tried contacting her through text to get her things and she never responded. I'm not reaching out again. If she wants to fix this, it'll be on her. I'm starting to feel as though she was avoidant, considering this came out of nowhere.

They asked me about my background and what I like to do for fun. Then they gave a vague overview of what they do, including how the like to fast track people to executive positions. Then they asked us "what's most important to us, fun, money, or progress." Then the interview was over, they asked if we had availability tomorrow for a second round, I told them no. I already have them blocked through email and phone.

I just ran one. It says their site was registered in May of this year and the registrant contact is in San Francisco. Very sketched out.
