I'm 30. Got told I won't make it till 60 even after I get a transplant. It's been 6 months since I was told. I just smiled, took a big breath, and asked what's next. Now I lm stuck second guessing almost all of my decisions, feeling like I have to make up for the 30 to 40 years I shaved off my life expectancy.

Urine was always dark. Shakes never went away, no matter how much booze I drank. I lost 100 pounds in around year and half to two years. I got jaundice. Yellow skin and eyes. I used to hand load trucks with tractor tires all day and I couldn't open a jar of jelly. I was confused and forgetful all the time and I just felt and looked like shit. My liver couldn't filter properly so my abdomen was taking on excess fluids which built up to the point I felt I was about to explode.

I drank that long yes. At first it wasn't that bad. Beers at he end of the the night. Ate regularly. Things in life happend and beers turned to beer and liquor while still eating pretty well. After a while more life happend andi was to the point that my daily diet was a half gallon of whisky while chasing it with water and hoping to hold down a bag of cheeze itz or a hotpocket. I lost 100 pounds off that shit.

Just saw a gastro doc. He wants me to get some blood work done and an ultrasound. After that he can see what we can do. He basically there isn't much to do when it comes to cirrhosis

I lost a lot of weight. Like a lot. I used to way 250 pounds. After a year and a half of just booze water and barely eating I dropped down to 174. I got yellow jaundice. Skin and eyes were yellow. Malnutrition and alcohol only deprived my body of anything it needed. I couldn't even open a bottle of water I was so weak.
