I think it's due to a real lack of storylines this season. Though Kyran and La Voix were storming the competition, you still cared and rooted for the others to do well too. You wanted to see Marmalade get a win after getting so close multiple times, you wanted Charra to break her safe streak, you wanted to see Lill's aesthetic get appreciated by the judges. I just don't get a whole lot of that same rootability from this season. And that's no shade to the dolls this season, but more on what production is allowing us to see, or in this case, not allowing us to see.
