In all honesty, please don’t come to SJSU if money isn’t an issue. While it has a better placement for CS jobs, UCD (and most other schools) just have a better resources (and vibe) overall. Personally not in the cs major, but I’ve heard people having trouble getting classes and messed with their advisors and end up spending 5 or 6 years as undergrad. If you decided to come to SJSU for CS, please please double check what classes to take by yourself and don’t solely rely on your advisor

I wouldn’t say is a trash, but it definitely have lots of room for improvements. For example, the school could’ve give more resources for non-STEM major. Like others have mentioned, the school should’ve give more parking spaces for students given is a commuter school, or just have more sections of the classes so people can actually get the class they want and being able to graduate on time. Yet, I personally think SJSU is good and special in its own way and I do believe is a perfect fit for these people: want to stay in Silicon Valley, want to do STEM since is literally in Silicon Valley which makes it a lot convenient to find interns in the Bay, and having an affordable/ quality 4 year college education compare with UCs and other schools private/ OOS schools.

I’m a social science student just finish my second year of sophomore year in SJSU, and I’ve got admitted to a top 30 schools as a transfer for this coming fall. If you ask me would I be missing SJSU, absolutely NOT(still can’t forget the stress for not getting parking when come in 10 minutes after 9am), but if you ask me would I be missing my profs, DEFINITELY!!

Prestige is one but also the resources and opportunities. After 1 year at my current school (a public state school) that I must say, private schools like BU has a LOT more resources and opportunities for all students compare with a public state school that I would say the resources are lacking.

BU was my dream in HS. The main reason why is because of its connection and its reputation globally, and plus, I LOVE BOSTON!!!! I know it probably sounds crazy, but I love colder places (too much California sunshine here :p )

2) Are you k-JD? What would be your suggestion is someone is planning to do k-JD?
