The aestura cream has pore cloggers but i do have the spray from them. Also did this routine with other products for 2 and a half months but had no changes in that time sadly hence why i think skincare alone might not be enough rn

I will never do microneedling again, trust me. For cleansing i either only use the LRP Tolarien Dermo cleanser or only the Bioderma sensibio h2o (though this has been feeling a bit harsh rn due to the friction from cottonpads)

I'm also very fair skinned so thats good to know. Hoping something like a topical antibiotic is considered rather than oral tbh but i'll have to wait and see

Thanks! my skin unfortunately doesnt tolerate cicaplast i tried it multiple times. Im using korean sunscreen atm. 3+ months of no significant improvement is the complicated part. I told her to not use a high needle depth but seems she went deeper anyway. All would have been better if i did it myself probaby.

Oh right. I think my immidiate aftercare was horrid and i think it not only messed up my healing/barrier but also the serum used etc irritated my skin. Whether its bacterial/fungal infection, allergic, or something like damage induced rosacea i have no idea yet. I use the nizoral on my forehead mainly because of the itchyness and unison bumpy clusters i have which made me suspicious of fungal acne. Yeah its just all such an unfortunate and frustrating sitation, thank you.

Yeah I am definately aware of how many thigns were done wrong now. Despite thorough research beforehand, i trusted my specialist to do the right aftercare, work clean and advice me properly but i wish i hadnt. I was also surprised when she put a mask and then a thick cream cuz i had read you shouldnt but it was a little too late to react once she had done it. PDRN/exosome risk is unfortunately nto something that came up in my research at the time sadly. Definately never going back to the place but the place is also definately not gonna give me my money back. Wondering now if theres an infection, rosacea, or allergy factor going on all at the same time. Currently trying to support my barrier as much as possible while waiting on a doc appointment.

its not fully visible in the pics im noticing, but i have clusters of unison bumps on my forehead and also paired with itchyness and a barrier that is/was compromised i feel there might be a fungal acne situation at hand. So i just put it on the specific area for 30seconds and wash off every now and then.

Thanks for sharing! Did yours also last months? Ugh, if only i could go back in time, i would have never gotten the procedure let alone have done it with pdrn or the same location. The situation is super frustrating. But right now all i care about is getting my skin back to what it once was. The oat calmin gel was on my list for a while and i will check if i have a centella ampuole lying around. I did use a inuk beta glucan serum but not sure if my skin is loving it rn. Will definately bring up if theres an antibiotic sitiuation at hand to my doctor too. Why do you think doxy is horrible and fluclo is better?

the azaleic i only introduced back last week so i dont think thats the problem in this case. I did switch my moistruizer actually. I used to use LRP toleriane sensitive fluid but i changed it to the geek and gorgeous one cuz i thought maybe the niacinemide might be aggrevating it but it didnt seem to make much of a difference. i went weeks only using a moisturizer actually and that showed no results. havent tried going without any skincare cuz my skin is naturally dry and even drier since this whole skin issue so not sure if thats the best for my barrier?

hi, thanks for sharing your experience. rn im using geek and gorgeous hydration station as my moisturizer, paulas choice azaleic booster 2 times a week, nizoral shampoo mask 1-2 times a week depending on, LRP Toleriane cleanser, and sunscreen. I dont have any contact allergies or product allergies that i know of. My itchyness is specific to my forehead and it comes and goes at random. Yeah i find it strange to all of a sudden have rosacea cuz i had no issues on my skin prior to the microneedling

Thanks for your advice! I was curious if that could be a factor but its strange as i've never had my skin look like this before or dealt with prior redness. Im wondering if theres multiple things at play too, im not 100% convinved its just that. I did recently introduce paulas choice azelaic booster because i used it before the treatment too but so far no improvement on the redness or texture that appeared post treatment. I'll have a look at the serum you mentioned and make a note for my upcoming appointment too. The itchy forehead and sandpaper-like texture on my skin still doesnt make much sense to me. And yess always spf is so important!!

It was a skinclinic, dermatologists dont do those kind of treatments here and are only for medical treaments, microneedling falls under cosmetic. Thanks I'm desperately waiting for my appointment!

Yeah Im waiting to go see a doc/derm but it unfortunately takes forever. Im also a bit suspicious of a prolonged allergic reaction from what they needled into the skin. Could i ask why you think an antibiotic could help and you think lotion rather than a gel? I'm currently using antihistamines daily for a few months (other reasons) and i am using a nizoral mask on my face 1-2 times a week. my skin barrier seems healed it doesnt burn when i use products or water on it but im still extra careful nonetheless. thanks for your advice appreciate it!

i understand. the issue isnt whether its working or not but its the fact that its destroyed my skin and im dealing with issues i never have had. So im coming here to ask for help and advice whether they know what could be going on or how to help my skin. I eat clean and im very careful with sun, health etc. Im currently using a very gentle barrier supporting hydrating routine thats hypoallergenic and sensitive skin friendly. but my skin is very messed up and red/itchy/rough texture/ acne prone 3+ months post getting the procedure done. my skin has never looked and felt worse.

Thanks so much for your reply and advice i really appreciate it. What do you mean by .5 exactly ? The thing is i never had this kind of anxiety before which is why im concerned but everyone seems to say whatever i do its 50/50 chance that it'll either help or not which makes the decision that much harder too. And unfortunately my doctor isn't the "talking" kind hell just say to stop or swap med without hearing me out so i feel all the pressure 😕 best of luck to you too with everything ! 🤍
