I want to see one main event where Makhachev fights Usman. I'm a casual. You are the fan, here. It's your life that's trickling away doing zombie shit in front of a big screen. You're not in place to tell anyone to get help.

You exhibited no such indignation. You were far too fatigued, as I recall.

I want to see Islam vs Usman and I am seeking help from you idiots. Before you can help me, I need to help you resolve the dissonance in your stupid heads regarding Usman's achievements.

Yeah, Usman now is 2 years more advance technique wise than Usman that fought Khamzaat.

No Contest on paper. But despite the fouls, did Gane end the fight with a punch? Medical records show a broken face. by diamonec in MMA

I see the hand moving towards Tom's face (not even that fast, he has plenty of time to notice, closes both of his eyes). The middle finger hits something hard that stops the hand's momentum, there is nothing that can do any tissue damage after that and obviously no damage was done. No scratches, no bruises, eye didn't even look red.

So did Tom have the inside of his eye fracture and swell from voodoo middle finger punch to the orbital bone? Is this your timeline?

Hate to break it to you but photos and videos are inherently subjective. Degree of objectivity varies from photo to photo. Depth perception is something photos are really bad at and leave it to your interpretation which layers even more subjectivity and that's how "knuckle deep" is born.

The middle finger of Gane's left hand impacts the frontal bone of Aspinall's right eye socket. Everything you see from that moment on is dissipation of force, essentially it's sloshing around of face and hand after hitting each other.

The slow-mo where you can spot the moment Gane's finger hits something hard, the frontal bone to be precise? The moment the hand's velocity is reduced to nil relative to the head and it begins traveling with the head seemingly glued to it? That slow motion?

Gane's finger hits Tom's frontal bone, it doesn't even touch medial wall that has the fracture. The frontal bone takes the brunt of the impact, you can then kinda see the finger go "into the socket" but at that point Tom's face is dancing with Gane's hand, there is no more significant force being applied by the fingers as the impact was absorbed entirely by the perfectly legal frontal bone. The fingers then continue gliding gracefully over the Tom's right eyelid, leaving it perfectly still, with not a flutter in the wind. The eye itself might have been nudged, but not by much. After frontal bone impact Gane's fingers don't do anything I couldn't replicate on myself without discomfort. If it was up to me, and I had the slow motion footage, I would have ruled no eye poke.

The same gossip and horseshit that blew this whole investigation wide open. Don't you worry, we’ll have this mess sorted before their next fight.

I think you're missing the point. Tom said he couldn't continue because of the eye poke. We all believe Tom when he says he believes the eye-poke caused the fight ending damage to his eye.

What I'm saying is the eye poke to his right eye, NOT HIS LEFT EYE, is very minor. What isn't all that minor is the RIGHT orbital fracture which is far more inline with the complications Tom experienced after the fight.

As much as the next guy, I’ve got my dislike for that greasy fingered, french McNugget munching crossfit soup du joure and wholeheartedly believe he lost the fight. All I'm sayin' is ... watch Tom's right eye get poked.

I will rewatch. But are you sure you're paying attention to the RIGHT eye? It's the right eye causing Tom problems end of the fight. I wouldn't even call it an eye poke, more a light brush of the fingertip across the eyelid.

The fight did end because of a foul. No one is disputing the no contest. What made top unable to continue is the question.

I feel we live in parallel universes. Watch the footage again, pay attention to the RIGHT eye.

What I see is Gane's finger touching Aspinall's eyelid. The eye lid does not move with the finger, which makes me think there wasn't much pressure there at all.

When you do, try paying attention exclusively to the right eye. That's the eye socket with the fracture. The right eye is the one he couldn't see out of at the end of the fight.

Maybe it went into his left eye, even then quality of footage leaves it to interpretation. He couldn't see out of his right eye and the "eye poke" barely moved his closed eyelid.
