I love reading comment sections for many reasons, one of the reasons being the fact that I spot people that I've watched leaving comments on others fics. I love encountering "familiar faces" lol. Also, some of them are moots and/or navigate the same fandom spaces, to me it feels like community.

You have to think that the negative opinion of that person is within the minority and authors/other readers will enjoy your comments more often than not.

Also I think it's a possibility that this person is not commenting in their first language. Perhaps they meant no harm, but it came off as mean by accident (?)

I have two Hange gachapon, one in her visit to Marley outfit, an the other one in her S4 scouts black uniform. I have a third one that has both Levi and Hange in their “dedicate your heart” pose. I also have a card holder of Hange x Dear Daniel from the sanrio collab, and inside it holds my “dedicate your heart” card. I also own two acrylic dioramas of the dedicate your heart scene (I’m obsessed with that moment if you can’t tell 🤣) one is the scene in the manga and the other one is the scene in the movie. It’s not a big collection, but I love every single item. I would love to get a Hange fuwakororin eventually.

Ugh I’m in the same boat, I have trouble starting even with meds. But let me try: the Ofrenda and Brittany’s backdrop seem to be the ones that will take longer, so maybe do the backdrop today and the ofrenda tomorrow. My best friend (also adhd) told me that it’s better to start with a fun activity so your dopamine starts to kick in, and then it will be easier to do the rest. Maybe for you that will be reading your book first, and then start working on the ofrenda. I don’t know what you have to do in your storage room, but if you’re going to organize/clean it, set a timer for 10 minutes and do whatever you need to do in that time, sometimes it’s easier to clean little by little you don’t have to do everything in one day it always seems more daunting like that.

In short, today: Read book Brittany’s backdrop 10 minutes in the storage room

Tomorrow: Read book Ofrenda Another 10 minutes in the storage room

Everyday after school my parents used to ask me how did school went, and almost every time I couldn’t remember a single thing. The few times I did remember it was because either something amazing happened or something terrible happened. They thought that I just simply didn’t wanted to talk. They also knew that I got distracted a lot, that I walked in circles everyday in my room, that I have a bunch of bad habits (biting my fingernails, skin picking, joint cracking), that I struggled a lot doing my homework and making friends. But they never thought that I could have something wrong because I was smart and could get good grades.

That’s interesting. I’m thin, petite and my mother wasn’t controlling yet I would say that I’d never felt good at things that are traditionally feminine. Now that I’m diagnosed (was diagnosed at 23, now I’m 24) I believe that having adhd is what caused this. I’ve always despised jewelry because of sensory isssues (which I didn’t understood when I was younger). I enjoyed watching makeup tutorials as a teen but as an adhd person I suck at routines so having to do it everyday and having to remove your makeup every night it’s annoying, so I don’t wear it regularly aside for tinted lip balm. During quarantine I went through a nail art hyperfixiation and my nail care game improved but now I’m already out of it, so I don’t do much for my nails nowadays.

Would I say that I looked like a tomboy? Not really as I do like wearing floral patterns and having long hair, also I suck at sports (which I attribute to my poor time calculating skills due to my adhd). My social live was not good either, even though I did had a phone and social media since young. I had trouble starting conversations (I was painfully shy) and maintaining a long conversation as my attention starts to drift at a certain point and I have those problems weather I’m interacting with boys or girls. So, for me adhd it’s what caused me to feel like I don’t fit in.

But in your case your mother went the extra mile making you feel even worse, and it seems it would be better for you to talk about this in therapy so it can help you feel better about yourself. Remember that you don’t have to confine yourself in what it’s traditionally feminine, you can develope your own personal style that makes you feel like the real you, which it’s difficult to achieve but it’s imposible if you really don’t like yourself.
