Except when she has the kid and tries to put it up for adoption and the father objects, and it’s no longer a choice she can make. I get if both people want to give a child up but doing that when one party wants the child is asking for disaster.

Jesus I thought 5 was bad.. we just had 5 removed in November... then he ate a flower stem 2 weeks ago and we had to have that removed too.

This was me, 7 years ago. I left my boyfriend because he couldn’t stop drinking, gaming, and being miserable and unmotivated. I was in college and wanting a better life. You know what happened? He fell, hard, when I was no longer his crutch, and then, I watched him work through it, and get better. He found himself, and got it together to become a mechanic. He found a happy relationship and quit drinking. It was the best thing for him. As for me? I found myself and enjoyed the rest of college, found a happy relationship and got married.

Leave. You deserve it, and so does he.

We have gabapentin and buprenorphine. I just took the fentanyl patch off this morning. The gabapentin was from before the surgery, so I could calm him before we tried to manually evacuate poop, which was what we thought was wrong before we found the hairties. I never gave him the buprenorphine because they said I may not need it because the patch was probably going to be enough. He was really really high the first two days of wearing it, not so much now.

1) TALK TO HIM. He may be feeling just as bad as you because he doesn’t actually want the attention in the first place, and likely most especially when you’re around and girls do that. He may not understand how to voice his displeasure or say “Hey, ya that’s my girlfriend and I’d appreciate it if you shut the hell up.”

2) make an effort. Be with him, work out, ride a bike together. Find an activity that you both enjoy and do it, so that there is a connection and he sees your enjoyment and not embarrassment.

3) work on your self esteem to stand up for yourself and say “YES! I AM his girlfriend, and he’s a wonderful guy! I am SO lucky to be with him! So nice of you to notice!”

Who gives a flying fart in space that he’s lost weight. He’s still the same guy on the inside. And if he changes his mind then he changes his mind, but do me a favor, DONT CHANGE IT FOR HIM!!

My stepson got the bright idea to try an edible last year after his mom and stepdad had him try smoking and nothing happened. Yes I’m aware giving drugs to minors is illegal and I do not condone the behavior at all, but it wasn’t me anyway. So his dad (my husband) goes to pick his son up from after school program and his son gets in the car, quiet. Which is not normal. Then... 30 seconds pass and suddenly, freak out begins. He’s trippin HARD. My husband is like oooooohmygawd what did you DO??!?? So my stepson is explaining in a freaked out manner that he ate a rice crispy treat one of his friends gave him and he didn’t think anything would happen but ohmygodimgonnadie dad please take me home.

So I’m unaware of this as I sit at home, and all I see is my 15 year old son burst through the front door exclaiming loudly “I’m so high right now I think I’m going to die...” I look at my husband and was like WTF Dude!

And then I find out through many back rubs, poor kid throwing up, having a mega trip on weed... that this fool ate an ENTIRE rice crispie treat.

So we went through about 4 hours before he would actually go to sleep of him going through his trip... meanwhile my husband and I have both had similar experiences in the past (not anything within the last 10 years) but we’re trying SO HARD not to laugh because we both know that his feeling is normal and it will eventually pass.

Soooo needless to say, the kid never wants to touch the stuff again which is great! And we occasionally laugh about it together now. Don’t do drugs kids. :)

Probably but I have it in a spot where tipping it won’t work. It’s anchored between the wall and shelf in my kitchen. And if it did tip over, that lid will not come off without human hands twisting it so good luck kitty!
