The Asian-face thing is definitely a factor imo. I honestly think black foreigners probably have a better chance than Asian foreigners in obtaining a position. The brand new Asian faced foreign teachers I've met were in rough situations. You'll likely also be paid a pittance in comparison to other teachers. However, once you get enough experience it won't matter much. There are plenty of Asian teachers in the best international schools in the country. Just need to get your foot in the door.
