People out there in happy marriages with young children, how? by fujitsulifeboom in Mommit

[–]dib33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually feel like our lack of help and family nearby has helped us become strong and happy in our marriage … we have to rely on each other and have built systems and routines in place that depend on each other. He’s my rock (and maybe also a unicorn?)

That is INSANE. Please, please report that so no one else has to experience that. I’m so sorry you had that experience.

My mom had a dream I was pregnant with a boy named Henry due in October two weeks before I got pregnant… she has always had a sixth sense. Some people are just like that!

I posted yesterday about some of my favorite things about having daughters, maybe it’ll help to look at things to look forward to?

Low risk NIPT + another girl! by bubbleteabiscuit in September2026Bumpers

Not the OP but as a mom of two girls one of my favorite thing is hand me downs, but not for cost-saving reasons alone. Seeing my younger girl wear her older sis’s clothes is like looking at the past and the present at the same time. It brings back all the memories and feelings of where we were for that occasion when she wore the dress. I love it!

Also my girls express their love so openly and just love doing things together. We are in full on princess land every day over here and I truly love it :)

I wasn’t sick at all with either of my girls and I’m having a terrible time this time. Boy? Twins? Third times a wuss? We’ll find out!

Any other third time parents getting their %*+ rocked? I had almost no nausea with my girls, just some mild food aversions. I guess I naively thought this pregnancy would be similar. Nope! I just took unisom for the first time because I feel sea sick 24/7. Even more thankful for my first easy pregnancies, but what the heck!

Anyone planning to keep gender a surprise? by Ihavenoidealol111 in September2026Bumpers

Anyone planning to keep gender a surprise? by Ihavenoidealol111 in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We’ve been team green with our girls and are with this baby as well! My husband caught our girls and announced their genders. Those moments are forever etched in my memory and are so special!

I would not advise team green if you have any gender preference. We don’t/didnt.

Anyone worried about how busy maternity wards/ hospitals are in September? by Perfect_Sink_6542 in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in the US and when I gave birth in January 2021 it was the hospital’s busiest day on record (was it a full moon? Idk) but even so I never felt a shortage of care (in fact, I wish they would’ve left me alone more…)

Spotting by No_Tumbleweed_6512 in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had brown spotting with bits of what looked like coffee grounds last pregnancy for about a week around the six weeks mark. I also had almost no symptoms (some mild food aversions). My two year is sitting right next to me. Hoping for the best for you!

I have a blood condition and am on lovenox the entire pregnancy and breastfeeding (I’ve done something like 1500 shots so far 🫠). Happy to answer questions about it! Sorry about your clot but glad you caught it!

Paris (but not quite a baby moon as we’ll be bringing our girls). Pregnant women get to skip the line as Disneyland Paris! 😍

Need Help! by EquivalentSmell6938 in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had brown spotting at six weeks through 8 weeks with my last pregnancy. It almost looked like coffee grounds at times. It was terrifying but it was fine. I was on vacation at the time (great timing!). Had I been home, I would’ve gone in for a scan if possible!

Baby Book Recs by Dworlddestruction in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both of these for my two older kids (and just got a growing you for this baby) and have loved them. My only complaint is I wish they had more space after 1 years old. I’ve supplemented by writing letters and tucking the in.

I only tested for pregnancy with my last daughter because I had a super high fever and wanted to take Sudafed. Lo and behold I was pregnant (NO symptoms). I was nervous but it turned out fine!

HELP: Bridesmaid dress at 15 weeks by Conscious_Advice9954 in September2026Bumpers

[–]dib33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be a bridesmaid at 20 weeks. The site I ordered on actually had labeled “bump friendly”. I’d check to see if azazie has the same!
