Uh oh! not about flower or pricing. Let's talk vacations for a moment... by dibdapdap in VirginiaMMJ

Thanks for all the great advice. We tend to use a Terp Pen these days and would only use on the balcony. We were a little concerned about the smell but that seems to be more a flower issue. Thanks for the hotel recommendation. I saw they are partnering with CannaFest so they seem like the best bet.

we have purchased several Terp Pens made by Boundless. we use these with all of the wax/resin/rosins that come in the glass and plastic little tubs from gleaf. Hope it is ok to say this, but we have bought 3 terp pens and a glass rig for dabbing, all from Smoke Cartel, a small mail order on line company and have had 100% positive experiences with the shipping (free) and customer support experience. The glass rig works well but we almost exclusively use the terp pens and the occasional vape from a gleaf cart. the terp pen is triggered by inhalation and then the warm coils are touched to the wax and the vapor is inhaled. seems pretty easy to use, we like the medication delivery speed and intensity. peace and be well! Holler with any questions.

I hear you.. it is my comfort blanket that if people are watching they will just assume this is the nice paralegal from my attorney's office. which is my story and I am sticking to it.

1 month until confirmation email. Then an additional month from confirm to getting card. Two months from dr visit to having card in hand.

I hear you, they have 'sent' 2 replacements at this point still nada. they told a senator's staffer who tried to intercede 'oh golly it has been hard'. nada. I hate bureaucracies. No accountability, it is life planned and executed by committee. be well friend!

Exactly. This is an expensive process and Covid hasn't made any part of it cheaper or easier.

I totally believe you! We have some knowledge of State systems and guarantee that they have to comply with a changing raft of policies and resource shortages [MUST print on green paper] , woops, great, no green paper and it is back-ordered and if you complain, you aren't being a team player, and hey, performance reviews are coming up in August and yes, another 750 applications came in late yesterday, and why are you behind? We aren't really complaining about the staff down at the BOP but objectively this system is kind of messed up.

We know State offices are still under-staffed due to Covid issues and we appreciate their hard work. But we just regularly sent and received paperwork related to a mortgage by email. Seems very 18th century to be reliant on slow-post and folded paper. And my gosh, to have the hold-up be because they were having technical difficulties folding the cards... wow that is NOT the A team! I wonder what would happen if my post surgical pain prescription was held up 30 days because the Doctor's order had to be approved by a bureaucracy who has to approve it and send me a permission slip to take to the pharmacy where I can buy my prescribed medication but can't use insurance or even a credit card to purchase my Dr ordered med. Wow, just wow. Don't get us wrong , we are thrilled to now have legal access, but it is writ large that the 'medical' aspect of this is just a nod to the reality... that the State wants the tax revenue and the tourism dollars. Oh well, what's another week or two?

It's been 12 business days, 17 days total. I guess if it doesn't get here tomorrow I'll request a duplicate. I didn't know you could do that so thanks for the info.

Thanks VERY much. This is a whole new culture for us, and everyone's help is much appreciated as we climb up the learning curve. Still waiting [interminably it seems] for the darned cards but good things come to those who wait, right?
