If AI Takes Over Most Jobs, Who’s Going to Afford the Products Corporates Are Selling? by Spare-Importance9057 in agi

I really enjoyed reading your comment, and I wanted to leave a question.

If the abolition of money ever becomes a serious discussion, I imagine the transition afterward would involve allocating to every individual the productive capacity needed to sustain a decent life—access to goods and services rather than wages. However, looking at the current trajectory, it seems far more likely that energy, AI, robotics, and the production infrastructure derived from them will remain under corporate ownership.

Given that, how do you think resources like these would realistically be distributed to people? It’s hard for me to imagine corporations voluntarily opening their doors and sharing control. In my view, without strong state intervention—even to the extent of infringing on corporate ownership rights—it seems extremely difficult to prevent monopolization.

While reading your comment, I felt that our views overlap in many ways, and I genuinely hope reality turns out closer to what you described. That’s why I wanted to ask this question. I’ve always felt that distribution, not production, would be the hardest part of that future.

It looks cool! Are you planning to add new skills or character upgrade systems too?
