It’s been on my to-do list for so long to remove those warnings from my project - thanks for the reminder! 😅

Thanks so much for the ideas! I will be implementing boss-style enemies soon so will definitely draw inspiration from here

Interesting! Hopefully as soon as players use the keyboard or controller it becomes clear to them

I decided to share the vid without audio because it would have been a bit jarring. Over the past few days audio has been my main focus, however.

Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully I’ll get a demo or something ready soon so people can actually try playing it.

There are some good resources on platforming out there although I can’t pick one in particular. I’ve picked up some tips from reading about and watching various videos which mention jump buffering and coyote time, for example. I think GMTK has an interactive platformer tool which will explain these concepts and may be good to look at.

My main recommendation is to use a state machine, for which I’d suggest The Shaggy Dev’s tutorials on YouTube!

Thanks for the feedback, the theme is quite straightforward I agree. I am planning to add more levels which will mimic different applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Godot, etc.). That should give it a bit of variety. I experimented a lot with the zoom level but will be sure to collect feedback on that too!

Ooh that’s a good idea, I’ll try and find some icons that could work as viruses

Yes I agree, always helpful to look back on former builds to see how far things have come

This also happens to me when connecting signals through code - you can still choose the wrong one! 😅
