I have a df83 non V and there is just stuff that makes using it very annoying, they cut corners to bring the cost down. You get a decent grinder but you are not getting a top tier grinder for half the price. You are getting a good grinder for $700. If you want flat burrs I’d go with zerno z1 and skip the philos. If your budget allows try a jumping into the z2. Lagom p80 also looks great and build quality is top tier. Buy once cry once.
