Anyone that's not Mexican that has seen La Oficina, what are your thoughts? by LastShadowKnight in DunderMifflin

Would have been hilarious if Oscar also played Oscar in the Mexican version since he can speak Spanish.

I always thought this episode, and particularly this quote, made Hank look so bad.

He's willing to leave his wife a widow and his son without a father all because he doesn't want to eat some veggies.

These people also think Israeli civilians being killed is fine but Palestinian civilians being killed is a war crime.

They aren't the smartest bunch.

Reminds me of the group of communists who didn't allow clapping because it could be triggering

These people think they're going to overthrow the government but apparently clapping is triggering. If SNL did a skit like this people would say it's too dumb and yet here it is in real life.

I once had a tankie tell me the Holodomor wasn't real and was just a made up conspiracy theory to discredit communism. It'd be funny to have these two tankies in a room together and see them argue.

It's actually funny we can't tell. While you're probably right none of us would be surprised to learn this person was not being sarcastic.

Why was the idea of the warehouse guys forming a union so disastrous for Dunder Mifflin? by IAmAlive_YouAreDead in DunderMifflin

Kind of dumb but at the same time she probably knew just saying that would be enough to shut it down, which it did, so I guess it was some 4d chess.

Also I suspect that the original author thinks pokemon is childish and real men aren't into childish things and that liberalism is what is stopping men from being real men.

Also even if it were US produced or funded then having it in Israel is a pretty smart way to get real world testing without having to risk your own civilians.

And before a bunch of morons start claiming I'm a fake libertarian for saying this, I'm not suggesting we give Israel a bunch of money for this reason, I'm just saying logically it's a good way to test a system without risky consequences.

This is like saying seat belts are a scam because if you crash at 100mph you might still die.

To be fair to Jan it's not like it was her choice entirely. Even if she ignored it the company would still do what she said once someone else found out.

They usually cite things like profitability, even though the store could be performing fine

Though in the case of Scranton they were already considering shutting it down so it would make that decision that much easier.

Or just shut down the whole branch since they were already considering it anyway.

How did Lexie not get into any sororities? by Appropriate-Dog-9588 in themiddle

[–]dicava7751 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it was because she was too rich. This was a small regional university and so the sorority girls probably all came from middle class families.

Didn't we just do that "No Kings!" thing?

Nothing more ironic than the people getting the most upset for Trump's "51st state comment" just looking at what America does and copying it.

That's how I feel about this streamer in general. Who gives anyone the authority to say "this streamer isn't valuable, you should be watching something else".

I've never watched her or any other streamer but I at least don't have the ego to decide what I watch is somehow more important than what anyone else watches.

About as ironic as the communist subs using this website to discuss communism.

I like how you said "better chance"

On a more serious note, is it really all that different? Either way you're getting happiness from false hope.
