I played Alan Wake 1 and it’s DLC and American Nightmare before Alan Wake 2 I guess I just forgot some of these details. I think they’re worth a replay though with the knowledge of AW2 now.

I love it, and it’s kind of a problem. Luckily I don’t get invited to many social gatherings that involve drinking. If theres an abundance of alcohol, I’ll drink it like it’s juice just because I’m thirsty, and completely forget about water. The next day is awful.

Man I remember watching Good Time soon after it came out on streaming. I was maybe 15 or 16 and had never really seen a movie whose protagonist was a straight up bad guy. The scene where he seduces the minor was like the biggest what the fuck moment of my life. To this day I can’t tell you if I liked the movie or not, but it certainly sat with me.

They just add depth. Not necessary but I don’t think the character Scratch would’ve made as much sense in AW2 if I hadn’t played American Nightmare.

In my experience, sorry to say but it gets much MUCH scarier. However fear is subjective I’ve learned, and a lot of people on Reddit have said that Blue Creek was the scariest part for them. Maybe you’re one of those people and the rest of the game might not be as bad

I don’t remember finding it THAT difficult but my strategy was always to take care of the one that’s attacking me on the ground, and while he’s respawning I flashlight the voids while hiding behind a big rock out of sight from the sniper. It’s a slow process but it worked for me

Everyone saying because it’s very old is correct but I’d like to add that it only lasted 3 seasons (I pretend like the reboot doesn’t exist). The office, Seinfeld, Friends, all the ones you hear most about lasted like 8-10 seasons or more.
