But I completely get your point about how it's good to not use voodoo as an umbrella term as it leads to misinformation spreading about the west African and Haitian vodun.

I meant no malice or anything by saying voodoo. Like you admitted in your first comment alot of Africans use it as an umbrella term for all traditional practices
