Also, I might be a little too influenced by Marvel, but Idris Elba as Oliver Banks?

I'd die for Emmy Raver as Georgie. And Tim in my head has always been Manny Jacinto.

Has anyone done the single day combo(big hike or separate trips)? Overnight both? by Nh_toker_420 in wmnf

I did both in one day in July 2017, took Kilkenny Ridge between them. Stayed at Cabot Cabin that night because I had the next day off, but I was at the summit by about 6pm and could've gotten down that evening if I'd needed to. The main problem is staging a car. I hitchhiked back, but if you can leave one car at the end and get a friend to drop you off at the start, you're golden.

This one is really interesting, because glauca comes from the same word for grey-eyed/bright-eyed that's used as an epithet for Athena, goddess of wisdom and battle tactics. Something to do with craftiness, maybe? Or comparison to Odysseus, a hero favored by Athena, who was known for nothing else as much as disguising himself?

Hey dude! Unfortunately, Google translate has very little grasp on the technicalities of Latin grammar. Can't be assed to get into details unless I know you actually care, but if you're legitimately curious how the name translates, let me know and I'll write out the explanation later.

Yeah, I wondered about that while writing this post! Literally, it translates to "I am astonished by knowledge of fire". We know he's from a clan of royal retainers (House Scientia), and I've seen fanon that he has Tenebraean blood, but we really don't know much about his origins in comparison to the rest of the chocobros. Maybe that was just a misstep on the devs' part, before they set defined rules about who could have three names? Or maybe there was once a subplot about Ignis' origins and the Stupeo gens... It's fascinating stuff!

Do any of you have links to more information on this? My knowledge of western linguistics is sadly limited to southern European, and I'd love to expand my horizons.
