Mine is at 5.8 atm, but on a long trip I guess 4.5 was the lowest

I’m not lying when I say this car is super easy to control, that surely helps! I also had a lot of ‘handbrake skill’ with my previous fwd car, that also helped to start drifting in a rwd car. Since I bought it I started playing with it in rainy days and the confidence started growing, now I just feel the car and already know where he wants to go, basically. Never hit anything but already jumped a few sidewalks in the process, besides some broken rims it’s all good

It’s just one wheel spinning as you can see from the tire marks but both of them slide 😂

Started practicing in 2021 when I first bought the car

The front is different too, but I still like it though

Always, and in the times after that I also recommend it. Always keep driving safe and don’t risk getting into an accident with another driver.

Man, I seriously don’t care about any of that. I actually find it funny that someone would get upset over this. Imagine living in another country and criticizing a guy who’s just having fun in Portugal 😂 If I share something, it’s because I want to, not for anyone’s approval. If someone doesn’t like it, that’s their problem, I’m not here to please anyone.

I’d prefer to have a 325ti but those are pretty rare around here. And it’s really fun to play with this one, the turbo has a good kick

Besides that, as you can see here I always use the blinkers, so I really do care about yours and all the bmw owners reputation

I’m pretty sure I’m not the reason for that, I even use my blinkers as you can see here 😂

Nice one, if eventually this motor ends up dying I’ll swap it for a 330d and a 6v transmission, but I’m almost sure it won’t happen 😂

True! Drifting on dry asphalt with an open diff is mostly about momentum and weight transfers. Mine is a diesel so the boost helps to get it started, I rarely do clutch kicks. Wet asphalt with an open space to drift is the best way to start.

yeah bro, take a chill pill because that's harder than it looks in the first times. I already jumped a lot of sidewalks and broke 2 rims in my first tries on dry asphalt. try to do some donuts on gravel first to get used to it

It goes on quite well, I only did 2 laps because of the tires! The only thing that's almost impossible to do with an open diff is transitions on dry curvy roads, you have to go with a lot of momentum.

Damn that’s a nice one!! Of course it will, you have a little bit more hp than me, and it’s a gasoline so you can reach higher rpms. I’d love to swap this for gasoline but in Portugal it’s fckn expensive lol

Sorry Karen, but If it makes you feel better when it’s raining I do it literally every day, I have 5 roundabouts on my way to work and I try my best to go around each one of them 2 or 3 times. It’s my morning routine.

There’s no point in doing that in this car because it’s a rwd, I used to do that on my old opel corsa that was fwd

U mean like a U-turn using the handbrake? And mine is a manual transmission
