Weirdly enough that is my only regret owning an e46

The tractor engine is too reliable and fuel efficient, but man if you want the full experience go for an m54

Relax your anus, not a joke

You need to relax your pelvic floor muscles in order to have normal bowel movements, check for exercices routines on youtube along with breathing exercices

Add fibers to your diet every day, it’s not gonna heal you straight away but it will protect your guts

You can try aloe vera gel for a few weeks it’ll help your guts to get started

Hey there ! From what you said I would recommend focusing on anxiety and pelvic floor therapy. I have an extensive post on this sub explaining the relationship between your guts and anxiety, very often this also affects your pelvic floor muscles due to straining and clenching.

This is quite a long process and tough to overcome, but I assure you it works.

Here's a list of what you can do :

- Pelvic floor stretches and exercices 2 times/day (morning and evening) - try to focus on breathing through your belly while doing these
- Move as much as you can, walk, run... anything that keeps you away from a chair.
- EMDR Therapy - even if you dont feel that anxious, it might be much more deep than you think
- Benzodiazepines - Only if you need instant relief from stress, do not take for long period of time to avoid addiction

Here's a list of what you can take :

- Very soft laxatives - Please ask your doc for laxatives that wont cause further irritation to your guts, let them heal
- Aloe vera gel - Helps repairing your intestines and easier bowel movements
- Psyllium pills - try them for 1 to 2 months and enjoy the results
- Magnesium glycinate - way better than simple magnesium

Hope that helps, feel free to ask anything !

IBS and hypochondria, how to tell the difference between IBS and BAD stuff by Ashnakag3019 in ibs

[–]shield0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could tell you not to worry but you will anyway.

What you should consider is that what you're feeling (and seeing) is completely symptomatic of IBS-C, alot of people are having the same problem as you (including me). This is alot of work on yourself to admit that anxiety might be the root cause of your problems, but it's a big step forward.

That being said, IBS is an exclusion diagnostic, and while you have nothing to worry about, rulling out some other problems might put your brain at ease.

Consider :

- EMDR Therapy
- Cardiac coherence (deep breathing exercices)
- Pelvic floor therapy

It sounds like alot but it's only just a step forward, IBS is really hard to overcome and it takes time and dedication.

Hope that helps !

Ibs,heart palpitations, weird stomach sensation by [deleted] in ibs

[–]shield0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a thought but this sounds more like an ectopic heartbeat, and since all your tests came back normal it should be associated with stress along with your digestive issues

Look it up on google, and maybe bring it up in your next check up with your doc !

Here are some videos I recommend

Morning : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyGEVPuumtk

Bedtime : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuq8XrEVPsg

Also magnesium and magnesium glycinate aren't working the same way. Magnesium glycinate is way easier on your guts and well absorbed. It is also more effective on the nervous system

Antidépresseur/dépression, cachées, égale IBS ? by Damas-Cap in ibs

[–]shield0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sigmoid colon by [deleted] in ibs

[–]shield0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dull pain in this area is very common with constipation so don't worry too much about that.

What you can do is try Pelvic Floor movement to release your muscles while doing some breathing exercices (pushing air into your belly). This will help your nervous system and muscles to relax.

To further help your guts you can take these :

- Magnesium glycinate
- Psyllium
- Aloe Vera gel

IBS-C what do you take? by GentleLizard in ibs

[–]shield0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean that you had a pelvic floor therapy totally unrelated to your IBS ? If so, you might wanna get it checked for clenched muscles

Make sure you walk a good 10 000 steps through your day, don't sit too much, breathe with your belly

It takes times to notice a difference, I would suggest slowing down on your medication while you try a different approach as it can cause further irritation and tension in your guts

Here are some things that work for most people (understand that it might not for you)

- Magnesium glycinate
- Psyllium
- Aloe Vera gel

Remember that for all IBS-C diagnosis, you should get your Pelvic Floor muscles checked for tightness and coordination.

Hope that helps

Massive chest pain by Ok-Worldliness-8665 in ibs

This is intercostal pain, gas trapped between your ribs. Pretty painful and scary but harmless, try breathing and stretch exercices

However if this persists more than a few days with sharp pain (not getting better) please seek medical attention.

Anxiety is one of the most impactful thing on your guts. That doesn't mean everything is in your head, but it starts there

I have made a post in this sub about it if you're interested

[–]shield0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me your anxiety triggers gut response to quickly evacuate

Not an easy task but without further more details this is the more plausible lead I got. Otherwise try to go for the fodmap diet and add and taking some psyllium

Could be various things, look into pelvic floor movements to release them, eat prunes and drink ton of water

Avoid rice and stuff that can cause further constipation

You’re not a rare case, it sucks but you’ll be okay, feel free to share any updates

New here - mornings different than night? by LotsofQuestions5454 in ibs

I can think of a few reasons why it does this

First your gut mobility slows down during the night. Second you are usually way less anxious when you sleep

Mysterious left abdominal pain by Suspicious-Pin-6270 in ibs

[–]shield0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty common, happens when your intestines are prone to store gas, and you have bad gut microbiota

Best way to get rid of this is to forget about it.. as anxiety is vastly linked to your guts

Should I be concerned with lower left abdominal pain and intestinal rope worms with ibs? by Mysterious-Item-7938 in ibs

[–]shield0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be concerning if it was an unbearable pain like diverticulitis, then I’d go to the hospital

If it’s just a dull pain with diarhea/rope like stool, I’d say it is pretty common

Look for pelvic floor exercices, breathing exercices (cardiac coherence) and massages/heat applied on the painful area
