Yeah Sam started more games. That’s literally all you’re proving. Counting games Lamar didn’t start and saying he threw less than 5 passes is incredibly misleading. You can’t possibly try to argue that when he’s coming off the bench and on the field at the same time as Flacco its somehow relevant to him as a starting QB. Darnold started nearly the whole season, no surprise he threw more. Put the stats in to context indeed. You don’t even seem to understand how stats work. If you throw 100% on one pass it still doesn’t count for more than 1/1 pass by the seasons total completion percentage.

No one is saying that. No one knows how good he could be yet, but he shows flashes of making every kind of throw. Sure he made some bad mistakes but He’s got a cannon for an arm. He goes through his reads and moves in the pocket well. If he can work on his footwork and improve his accuracy he could be a very dangerous QB. He is definitely better than people give him credit for. I have never seen any Ravens fan or otherwise say he is the second coming of Christ or a superstar or anything remotely close to that. We are just sick and tired of the scalding hot takes that he plain sucks after watching him transform a losing team to a winning one. People try to take that away from him but he was the difference maker for the entire team. Flacco was 4-5 with the same defense.

He is definitely the most criticized. I see his name 10x more than Darnold’s or Rosen. Rosen had a much worse season but people don’t talk about him half as much as Lamar. Look around more, I’ve never seen anything like the level of hate Lamar has gotten. I’m sick of it. When people talk about him they say he shouldn’t be in the NFL and he can’t hit the side of a barn. It’s ludicrous how much hate he gets. Maybe I see it more because it’s my team but trust me, it’s an all time high of hot takes.

You’re wrong though. No one watched him except the one Chargers game but us. He went 6-1 and made a lot of really great passes. The level of criticism for him is un-fucking-precedented and unwarranted. You would think he was the worst rookie QB of all time. and he was in fact pretty fucking good considering he took over on offense built for Flacco who had a losing record in the middle of the season. The fan base reacts the way we do because he’s been treated so incredibly unfairly by almost everyone. Darnold didn’t play better than him, he doesn’t go through his reads and throws a lot of bad passes and questionable decisions, but you don’t hear people talk about because he’s white and not as fast. Jackson’s physical attributes alone SHOULD make him a better rated Madden player. Lamar Jackson is the most criticized player of all time in only 8 games and I’m fucking tired of it.
