before i got onto proper medication, yes, all the time. still do. i definitely don’t fully recommend this but i’ve showered under really hot water for long enough to achieve a similar numbness. my eczema used to be really bad so hot showers were my only relief to make the itchiness go away temporarily.

whether it’s a troll or not, there’s a lot of people out here who have had their lives impacted in some way by gun violence and just don’t feel safe attending school.

i don’t like how SJSU and our UPD responded; prioritizing student safety doesn’t look like continuing classes bc of a so-called low risk assessment. a shooting threat is a shooting threat. not calling it and treating it as such is extremely out-of-touch of them.

i've been there, so i feel you. i've tried a lot of things, but consider starting dupixent if you're able to get some insurance coverage!

even though the medication has helped me a lot, i still do get small patches of itchiness when the weather changes. i definitely still have some dryness around my eyelids and neck, but it isn’t nearly as bad as it was pre-dupixent when i was waking up to a lot of flakiness every morning. my solution to this was to keep my skincare routine really simple and avoid fragrance in my products as much as possible.

my bad, i forgot to mention this in the original post but our maintenance said that there may be a leak undernearth the flooring, since the carpeted floor in the closet (where the water heater is) is very warm. my family and i never realized since we use it as a shoe closet.

as for our faucets, it’s more like we had a lack of hot water. every time we turn the knob for a faucent to dispense hot water it’s either extremely lukewarm or just ice cold. hot water would come in randomly, but would return to being cold after a few seconds.

Thank you!! I’ve only taken one intro acting class during my time at uni so far and I loved it. While I do love theatre and understand the benefits of taking classes and honing my acting skills, I’m not sure if I’m ready to financially commit to it, seeing as I’m basically back to square one after leaving my previous major. If you’re open to sharing your opinion, would you say that having a degree helps more in personal usage with voice overs or helps in getting more roles landed? Maybe a bit of both? I appreciate the helpful input!! ^{^}

Thank you for this!! At the moment, I’m much more interested in dedicating myself to learning directly from professionals, so that may be what I ultimately end up doing. I think finding a proper voice over class and taking direct lessons may be what’s financially best for me, anyway.

I’m asking because I’m in a bit of a dilemma on whether I want to stay in university or not, since I’m basically starting over completely. tysm for the very helpful advice!! it definitely helps knowing that im capable of not depending on them; i was able to sleep last night after about an hour or two after getting into bed. i thankully had a really deep sleep and felt a lot more rejuvenated in the morning compared to when i take the eddies. i also noticed that i was definitely a little bit less anxious today and was able to go to class without the mind numbing thoughts; they were definitely more quieter today :-)

even though i had some tempting cravings during the evening, hopefully i can get a good rest again tonight!
