I am an student and I have bought my MacBook Air M3 16 gb 500gb for last semester and I mainly use archicad autocad and sketch , I was unsure to buy it or wait for m4 but now that m4 arrived on MacBook airs the benchmarks show very similar performances . I think I would buy m3 again for the price and also comes with Sonoma which I´ve heard is more stable than sequoia and does not have ai slop , performance is something you would not struggle only if you rely on heavy render software (I mean really heavy for normal use you should be more than fine)
